Atttention to detail was second to none, even if we stayed for only 1 night. Thomas came by to say hi with a smile.

The apartment was very spacious, in an excellent location by the water and in the middle of the village. We like to cook our own meals when we travel and this place made this possible with a huge, well-equipped kitchen. It had everything needed for meal preparation. This apartment had a front door and a back door with a picnic table right outside. Inside was a huge kitchen table and comfortable living room seating facing the water front. We loved the fact that we could walk out this back door and enjoy the beautiful harbor and fjord. Another plus was that there was a super market a couple of minutes walk away. Torsken is beautifully situated, but the road there is terrible and ends in the village. When visiting other parts of Senja, you have to drive back and forth over the mountain on the poor road. The cabin we stayed in was roomy, wonderfully provisioned, and exceptionally clean. The restaurant offers a full-selection breakfast buffet and a full-service dinner that includes a selection of regional fish deliciously prepared. The village is quaint and charming and has several local, short hikes that are walking distance from the hotel.
