It was almost a studio, clean and comfortable, even with a balcony and a very nicely decorated bathroom (I loved its wall and floor tiles!). The kitchenette was well equipped with fridge, stove top, microwave, electric kettle and coffee machine, and I was provided with a big basket full of kitchenware and cleaning products. Breakfast was varied with a wide offer of both hot and cold options, which was perfect for a good day start. Location is central and the area is served my several bus lines and even the tram to the forest. And last but not least: free coffee and cookies were available in the lobby all the time. We were a bit lost, being foreigners in an unfamiliar location. Nina, the extremely kind hotel staff helped locate a garage and drove me and the removed flat tyre to the garage. She even waited to drive me and the tyre back to the hotel. So we could quickly get onto our journey again. Everything is great — both the nature around the city and...
Everything is great — both the nature around the city and the city itself are beautiful. My main piece of advice would be to visit Egon Tårnet — a restaurant located in a tower with stunning views of the city and the fjord. The tower slowly rotates about 360° per hour, so you get to see the entire city while you dine. The food is excellent as well. People everywhere speak English, so getting help or service in English is no problem. The only downside is the prices — they can be quite high.Guest review byMykhailoUkraine - 10.0

This is a great city. One of Norway's largest in fact. We took a bike tour and learned about it. The city houses the Norwegian Rock and Roll Hall of fame museum which was fun to check out. We had an AMAZING dinner at Kalas and Canasta. Couldn't recommend any higher. The staff and food was chef's kiss. There is live music around the city and super walkable. A bustling and vibrant city, where the friendliness and enthusiasm of the locals is contagious! We were travelling through to the Arctic Circle on motorbikes and this was a much needed hotel stop.
