The shopping was awesome.
The shopping was awesome. Finding a nice cafe for lunch was hard to find Unfortunately the waterfront wasnt as fun to walk around as at previous visits...surprising considering WOW was on. Lots of interesting places to visit..allwithin easy walking distance. I waa disappointed with Cuba St. It used to have a great vibe but now dismal and seedy without the cool shops i use to visit..or decent cafes.Guest review byAnonymous - 2.0

We left straight away and did not stay. The driveway was completely dangerous, we got stuck half way up and had to walk back down to the bottom to find help. There was no way we could have been able to come and go as needed. The house was also freezing. Everything within walking distance. However there's NO pedestrian crossings from the motel side of the road! I'm a bit slow with bad hips and I was taking my life into my hands to get across to the mall lol. Great little cafe called "Local Authority" under the council building next to the gym! All in all it was a very good experience staying and I would stay there again. The unit was nice and clean and the staff were very welcoming. The local Indian restaurant is the best Indian food I have ever had and the service was exceptional not to mention that the prices are very reasonable. We tried to get into the Thai but it was fully booked. We went to another restaurant down by the beach which was upstairs but it was so noisy that it was to hard to hear. Greytown is so close to many places of interest. As a township it has everything required for a stay. Beautifully preserved in heritage style. Very friendly, helpful locals. The Cobblestone Museum is a must to see. Central to other interesting wee townships and a stunning scenic drive to Castlepoint which is a must see and explore. The best burgers at the local store. 😋 would love to return to visit everything we didn't have time for. I must say EXCELLENT restaurants and takeaways.
