it was beautiful and the service was excellent. delicious food and surrounded by nature. a jewel of bocas del toro. the beach club they have in bluff beach was great. the hotel is a high end surfers paradise, but even if you don’t surf (like us) the hotel has many amazing yoga classes, meditations and included spa services that you can enjoy as well as a bunch of treatments that we didn’t try but looked amazing. the rooms are beautiful, super clean and they have a balcony that looks into the jungle that is very special. I genuinely loved my experience, wish I could’ve stayed longer!can’t recommend this enough

Shout out to Pierre, receptionist extraordinaire, who was delightful and provided superb services to everyone. Also, included was a delicious breakfast every day by two of the most amazing cooks was not only a great start to our day it was a joyful experience with soft music, excellent coffee, and healthy, fresh good food. Hotel is really well maintained, clean, comfortable, with everything you need for a good family vacation. Rooms are spacious enough (we stayed 2 adults + 2 kids), with an amazing view of the ocean. The hotel has an in-house restaurant "pier 19" that is also really good and with a lot of options. Another plus, they have coffee, tea and drinking water available for free at all times for the guests. Location is great, in the main island "Isla Colon", yet is not in the middle of all the restaurants and bars, so is very quote and peaceful, but anyways within a 5 min walk to where all the action is..., is a perfect combination.

This hotel is just amazing. We were thinking about this hotel from the very first time we had decided to visit Bocas del Toro. And it was a good choice. The view from the apartment? Amazing. We also decided to stay another night, unfortunately the same room was booked, so we moved to another room - pool-side cabin. And that was amazing as well. The location is absolutely perfect as it is 1 minute walk from the pier where boats from the land arrive. The sea-view apartment is very spacious and clean, with a big kitchen corner. The pool-side cabin is clean and with a beautiful view. After the first night we watched dolphins during breakfast just in front of the hotel. After a night in the pool-side cabin we watched dolphins swimming in the golden waters during sunrise from our bed. That was intense.

Beautiful in every way with fine design, gorgeous location, fresh gourmet cuisine and wonderful owners and staff. We loved waking up and stand up paddle boarding on the pristine bay and exploring the nearby coves. The minute you pull up to the resort via boat, you know that you are in a special place.

Great value ! The owner is awesome. She gave us lots of tips abouth how to move around , where to go and what are the best places to eat around. The location is perfect . Very close to the town . In front of the property there is a nice beach that you could use. Also the location is on the road to Bluff Beach and Boca Del Drago / Estrella and the buseses are crossing in front of the hotel. So if you don't want to use local taxis they are very convenient . The property was well beyond our expectations . The bed is 5 star hotel level. Very big , enough for a family with a small kid sleeping with you ( that was very important for us ) . Also they could arrange laundry service for you if the case .

This locale is not for everyone. You are in the jungle and off the grid 100%. The road to enter is a 20 min dirt road. That said we had a spectacular time. The location is so beautiful!! The staff are genuine, friendly and so helpful. The cabin we stayed in was beautiful a great view of the Oceqm and the Jungel around us. The staff were very helpful to arrange excursions. The pool delightful, the lookout a great vantage point. One reminder, maybe pack a light blanket. It can get cool at night and you have a one sheet and a single light throw in the room. We made due with our towels for extra layers. So happy we ventured to this true island paradise.

This place is so idyllic. True island character. Simple yet quality. A sense of style in many touches.Best beds! And sheets were cotton! Or at least 50%. Beautifully situated on the shore. We loved the overall vibe of this property. The communal spaces to eat are really nice and you feel a real hostel vibe even though the rooms are private. We loved the hotel beach that is easily accessible from the grounds. We stayed in the Estrella cabin that overlooked another quiet beach, so we’d fall asleep to the waves every night. There is a Toucan rescue who comes by a lot. I got to see her during my shower along with seeing a sloth from our balcony. I paid to get a massage done on site, and Josie did an amazing job! Owners and staff are also all extremely nice people.

Big Creek is in our opinion the best place to stay in bocas.

Big Creek is in our opinion the best place to stay in bocas. As it is not right in the city and more towards the most famous surf beaches you get the best of both worlds. The Jungle here is so pure and the wildlife is amazing, there are monkeys, sloths and tucans jumping and flying all around you. The Taxi drive to the center costs 2 dollar per person and takes 7-8 minutes. By bike you´ll need approximateley 20 minutes. If you are looking for amazing Wildlife and some relaxing time out of the noisy "pueblo", then this is definitely the right place for you.

Bocas Town offers many services (supermarkets, pharmacy, cafes) and seaside hotels with cafe-bars around well-designed docks. It is a good place to find tour operators and sign up for day tours to some of the prime beaches (Bluff, Estrella/Starfish, Wizard, Isla Pajaros, Isla Zapatillas) and resorts (Red Frog, Nayara, Playa Tortuga, Bocas Villas etc) in the different areas of the Bocas del Toro Archipelago.
