- From US$348.48 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 442 reviewsEverything was pretty good overall. All email communications with Gustavo were great prior to our stay and during. We originally booked on booking.com at a very high price and kept looking and got a much better deal.....so I'd suggest if you're paying approx $250 USD it's a good deal. Food was great, grounds are immaculate (loved the 🦜 & all the 💐's), pool was nice and cold but great when in the sun for abit! We were there 2 nights/ 3 days for the sole purpose of relaxing and that's sure what we did. As mentioned in prior reviews, we found Peruvian families on site using the facilities and their clothing everywhere by the pool and grounds...maybe lockers should be provided for this. Only 6 lounge chairs by the pool, so not really good in that sense when hotel guests who are paying can't even get access. Also tables to put drinks on would be good (I think I also only saw 1 of those and again occupied by non-hotel guests). It would be nice if they had the theatre in English as well maybe at a different time. We couldn't get the TV to work really nor in English even after the maintenance guy came. We had several mosquitoes in the room upon check in, however was quickly rectified with a call to the desk and a lady came to spray and put plug ins. Woukd have been nice if we had clean chairs outside on the balcony for morning coffee (they were covered in bird poop) so we layed towels down on them as they were a tad tough to get clean. Yolanda at breakfast was exceptional. Went above and beyond for Us. We were also celebrating our Anniversary and they added a little nice touch to Our room upon arrival. We found it very clean, quiet, great food (make sure to save room for the Aranwa Experience desert....it's exceptional and have your phone ready for a video!). We had a pisco sour demonstration and it was awesome as we made our own & then got to consume them. They were delicious!!.Guest review byMelissaCanada
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.7Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 39 reviewsLas Casitas was such a nice place to stay, it has unbelievable energy, we even extended our stay (twice). The territory is wonderful with a garden, which smelled so nice, and dedicated yoga place. The school that the owners support is a very important project for the community. We really looked forward to returning ‘home’ every day in the evening, walking through the garden, lighting a cosy fire.. The staff were friendly and very welcoming, breakfast was great (as well as lunch and dinner), all amenities worked excellent. I would be very happy to return here one day, it definitely added many good memories to our trip and stay in Urubamba.Guest review byAnnaLuxembourg
- From US$161.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 78 reviewsIt is my second stay at La Casona de Yucay, and my third visit there in 2023 (after 2 nights in 2018 and 2022 just visiting the place). Its location is very good, the rooms nice with big windows, clean and cozy. All staff are wonderful people, always very helpful and making you feel 'at home'. We stayed for 10 nights in total (3 nights and 7 nights) as we were hiking, resting, online working. I also has its very own charm with its architecture and beautiful gardens. We always moved in the micro buses to Urubamba or other places in the valley. I loved staying at Casona de Yucay, it is a magical place. I will come back.Guest review byClaudiaGermany
- From US$561 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 66 reviewsThis is one of the most incredible parts of our Peru experience. I had no expectations going in, except to relax in nature. We were really happy with our cottage and nightly fires. The food is outstanding and served by very kind, happy staff. The highlight was birdwatching in the mornings and doing the nature walks with the guide. This hotel is located in an incredible nook inside the mountains that makes you feel wrapped in the Andes. It is truly a magical location. Additionally, our spa services were divine.Guest review byAnneUnited States
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 138 reviewsThe property was beautiful. The location is great - far enough away from the bustle of town but an easy walk to the centre. The gardens were stunning - so peaceful. Our room was lovely - spacious and well appointed and breakfast was great. The team at the hotel were all sensational - friendly, personable and helpful. We really appreciated being able to leave our motorbikes and luggage at the hotel for a couple of days while we went to MP.Guest review bySueAustralia
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.6Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 65 reviewsNice location, outside of any busy place even though it was a bit tricky to get there by taxi. When we arrived it was very quiet and I don’t know if anyone else was staying in. It’s cozy and close to nature but it needs to be improved with more staff and more options for food. Some ambient music during dinner or breakfast would be nice. The spa wasn’t hot enough and you have to pay extra for this.Guest review byAnnaUnited Arab Emirates
- From US$130.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.8Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 583 reviewsGreat option to stay in Ollantaytambo. The hotel room has a great view to the archeological site of Ollantaytambo. It is near to the train station, in a 15 minutes walk. The hotel itself is nice. The staff is friendly. The room is clean and confortable, with a huge bed. The breakfast has quality, not so many options, but delicious things. I recommend this hotel.Guest review byLeandroBrazil

Ollantaytambo is a gem of a town, my favorite so far of the Sacred Valley towns I have stayed in. The historic part of town feels like it must have felt with the Incas were living there in precolonial days. The streets are kept immaculately clean. Everything you might need is within short walking distance but does not intrude on the authenticity of the town. The views of the Inca ruins on all sides take you back in time. I would gladly go back for a longer stay. The constant flow of large tourist vans down the main street can be a bit annoying as they don't seem to belong, but you can avoid this. One great thing about Kamma Guest House is that it is not in the main stream.Guest review byDavidUnited States - 8.0

Central location for exploring up and down the valley, with good bus connections. It's a real Peruvian town, not a touristy place, like many of the other towns around. I had a good meal in town. Everyone was friendly.Guest review byTimothyPortugal - 10.0

Pisac is a great place to acclimatize if you are coming into the highlands from Lima or Amazon basin. It is charming small town with lots of historical interest. Archeological Pisak is well worth spending some time on. If you are looking to acclimatize to higher altitudes, Pisak is a better starting point that Cusco because the altitude is about 1500 ft lower and it is closer to Sacred Valley attractions.Guest review byAnandUnited States - 10.0

Awesome characterful town well worth an overnight stay. We would love to return. The archeological site is stunning but don’t forget to spend some time exploring Pinkuylluma. The hike is steep and challenging but short and so worth it.Guest review byDerrickUnited States - 10.0

Urabamba is a wonderful local feeling town with a nice square where you can find very good restaurants. There is a Saturday vendor market around the square and a big fresh market every day only a few blocks from the ,main square. Easy to navigate. I ate at Forty, Big A and Migas. All amazing food.Guest review byChristinaUnited States - 8.0

The Pisac archeological park is very interesting and takes 2 - 4 hours to see. Take the taxi up to the site and consider walking down back to the townsite through the park to see additional ruins. Several good restaurants and coffee shops in Pisac. Easy to walk anywhere in town. Central plaza is a pleasant. Short drive from Cusco, could do as a day trip.Guest review byROYCanada - 10.0

Strongly recommend to stay in the city instead of doing your Machu Picchu trip from Cusco directly. It would be much less tiring and the city of Ollantaytambo is very cosy and comfortable. Specially if you are coming from outside Cusco and flying in, my recommendation to fly into Cusco and go straight to Ollantaytambo, stay here and visit Machu Picchu. Following by this, go back to Cusco for your stay and fly back. This was a good way we thought to beat the potential high altitude sickness.Guest review byParthUnited Arab Emirates - 10.0

Look no further for accommodations in Pisac!
Look no further for accommodations in Pisac! This is by far the best choice. Casa de Oren is just outside of the town and the proprietors will provide transportation from Pisac to their hotel. The rooms are spacious and very comfortable with balconies overlooking the beautiful garden. They serve a delicious three course breakfast included in the price and offer very tasty and affordable dinner options. Four of us stayed there for four nights and ate dinner there each night (huge portions). The hosts are very attentive and hard working and attend promptly to requests. They treat you as if you are family. We wish we could have stayed longer as this was the best stay of all stays in our two week visit to Peru.Guest review byAnonymousUnited States
