- From US$146.83 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.5Very good - What previous guests thought, 567 reviewsBasically everything. Please do note though that this Booking site both contains the Moana and the Sunset Hill premises as well. The Moana is near the ocean, in Sunset Hill (which we had rented) lies 100 m farther - no big deal. Do note also that the downstairs rooms can get quite humid easily, so the air conditioner is a welcome thing. But besides that, this is THE bang for buck thing if you do not want to spend all your money on overwater bungalows. The most important thing, and I think, an advantage, is that since you are at the heart of Vaitape, you REALLY experience Bora Bora - not what a big hotel chain presents you as Bora Bora. AUTHENTIC EXPERIENCE. Shops, foodtrucks, pharmacy is easily reachable. But the best thing is that your hosts take you THERE AND BACK to Matira beach - which, put it simply, is the greates beach on Planet Earth :) If you plan to save money by making your meals for yourself, and get in touch with real Bora Bora, think no more about your accomodation - you've just found it. You can use the private dock at Moana - it is deep, deep blue, but we saw our first wishes - wonderful ones! - here. So basically you get a private lagoone connection, too.Guest review bySzabinaHungary
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.4Very good - What previous guests thought, 158 reviewsThis really is a lovely getaway - spacious, well equipped cosy bungalow finished to a high standard, very clean with big comfy bed and nice furnishings. It’s a cute building and very homely inside. The private deck overlooking the water is just amazing in the evening- beautiful sunsets, lovely for coffee in the morning. Hosts could not be more helpful, great communications, able to assist with transport and bookings, even helped us from the airport when we missed the ferry! (Oops!) Really hope we can return one day..Guest review byChristopherUnited Kingdom
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.8Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 71 reviewsThis place is not only simply unique and authentic like nothing you would expect from a tourist destination, but also reflects the spirit, dreams and deep understanding of South Sea culture by its loving and caring owners. Not only extremely comfortable but also a true gem for those who not only know how to look, but make an attempt to see. Super-welcoming and always approachable hosts, who walked every extra mile to make our stay a memory that truly stands out.Guest review byAlenaAustria
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 48 reviewsYou can't get more Robinson Crusoe feeling... it was by far one of the most special stays we have ever had. The view of Bora Bora, the solitude and the natural life. To sum it up: It was a dream and we will definitely be back. Thank you Tea, Tatiana and Joël 😃Guest review byDennisGermany

Bora Bora is a slice of paradise.
Bora Bora is a slice of paradise. We rented a scooter for a day and saw the whole island. What was best was Rudolph at H2O was an amazing tour guide. Well worth the money. The waters are amazing colours and warm. Temperature perfect. People were nice and friendly. Had some great meals.Guest review byDorisNew Zealand - 10.0
Our favourite place was on the lagoon.
Our favourite place was on the lagoon. We hired a pontoon boat and spent a day on the water, one of the best experiences was snorkelling, swimming and relaxing. It was great. Lots of different fish, coral gardens and many sea life. Water was crystal clear and vibrantly blues and greens. Views were endless. Swam at Matira Beach. Wish I could go back there. Restaurants were good and plentiful - we ate at Lucky House and Maitai Restaurants.Guest review byTracyAustralia - 10.0
Going to Matira Beach is a must.
Going to Matira Beach is a must. Have a drink or sunset at the Bora Bora Beach Club that's right on the beach. Go on a boat tour to a Motu (an islet) and snorkeling (ask for DiDi the boat captain).Guest review bychristianUnited States
