The location was actually walking distance to SM Ecoland and was close to a 7/11 if you need any essentials. The staff also sells food and water if you can’t be bothered. For the price, it definitely exceeded my expectations.

All the STAFF, everyone is wearing a face mask but you can see in there eyes that they are smiling. From the security who greets and assists you when getting off from your vehicle or finds a parking spot, to the staff who opens the door who welcomes you warmly, Gwen and her colleagues at the front desk being sympathetic, May from the concierge who made an effort contacting CebuPacific about my lost luggage, Mark and his colleagues at the bar whom I had a conversation while I was having a drink. Room service and Housekeeping who gave me what I requested. the lifeguards are friendly. So even from a long and exhausting trip because of delayed flight and lost luggage you surely can have a relaxing stay at the hotel.. 12/19/22 - 12/22/22

A corner of tranquility in the chaotic city of Davao. We really appreciated the cleanliness of the room and common areas, the beautiful garden, and the swimming pool. The staff were kind and helpful. Our room, which opened directly onto the pool, had a spacious bathroom with a comfortable shower. Breakfast, served at the table in a typical Filipino style, was more than enough for us. During the durian season, you can also buy and enjoy the fruit right in the garden. The location is quite convenient, close to many shops and restaurants, and right across the street there’s a gas station with a mini-market open until late in the evening. If we can, we will definitely come back.

    From my first day at Crown Regencies I’ve felt very comfortable, the staff are exceptional. Im well travelled and I have never felt so relaxed and made so welcome as I did at this hotel. I extended my stay another week as it’s a perfect place to relax by the pool or in the Jacuzzi, I will be returning here the next time I visit Davao.

    Safe.

    Safe. Walking or strolling at 12 midnight and it’s really safe. If that was Manila, daaaaang, I’d have lost items or my life. One thing I found amazing, when people reserved tables at fast-food chains or restos, they place their phones. Like they’re not afraid to lose them and someone grabbing those.

    Medium sized city to forget Manila for a few days. Tagum is not crowded, is cleaner, not so polluted, there is Nature very close to the city and the rivers are clean. The food is great, mostly the seafood, so fresh, tasty and affordable. Even home delivery food has good quality, much better than in Metro Manila for the same price or sometimes less. Neighbors are respectful, friendly, clean and quiet. They do not go annoying each other as in Manila. Tagum city is a good place to probe that peace of mind locations are still there waiting for us to get a work from home job and reconcile ourselves with the human being.

    I haven't been since 2012.

    I haven't been since 2012. Downtown Davao is really crowded now. I love Tagum city. I was there for a family reunion. I love travelling with my relatives seeing the beauty of nature. I love eating in turo-turo carenderia.😊 For travellers, you will enjoy your holiday, away from the city. No photos to share. I lost my phone at Changi airport Singapore.

    Samal is a quaint and beautiful island.

    Samal is a quaint and beautiful island. There are some nice places like the Monfort Bat Sanctuary and the Giant Clam Conservancy. I went to the white sand beach for swimming. Being in a channel, the current was swift so I couldn't really go out beyond the swimming area, and it suddenly gets deep as well. I didn't like it for swimming, more for touring.

    Kopiat was hard for us to get to—2 overnight flights on the way in and out, plus a long and expensive ground transfer. Our accommodations on the island were incredible, but we were a little afraid to snorkel because of the snakes.

    I noticed that there is no small convenient stores or just a quick facilities to buy little things in the corner or along the streets. I needed to make a list of all my daily needs before I go back to the place or I have to do a quick run to the convenient store or groceries to buy bags of goodies for my entire stay, or order a quick meal via grab or other facilities. Taxi or grab is the only way to travel around places though they are not very costly to my experienced but to locals, I don't know how do they get to the mall or groceries in a distance.
