This small 3☆ hotel is an amazing little gem of a hotel! Everything was perfect from arrival to departure. If we ever drive through Poland again we will definitely stay there. The room was just perfect. The staff did everything to make us feel welcome. The restaurant in the hotel was a real surprise! I did not expect to get splendid italian food in a small polish border town yet we did! An excellent classic spagetti alla carbonara and my husband's pizza - he said the best he has eaten! But the biggest surprise was the breakfast! I have stayed in 4☆ and 5☆ during my career but Velvet Hotel outshone many of them. Pls note: The photos included are NOT outside but the hotel breakfast which was excellent!

Very cosy apartment, in a good place. The parking is near the house outside the gates. There were everything what you need to stay. Very comfortable beds.

Really nice place, especially if you are travelling around national parks and attractions near Augustów. We were received by the owners, apartment is an extension of their house even with a little terraza for resting or doing a grill. Inside it was very comfortable and prepared. We recommend this place for couples travelling by car (it's around 30 min from the center of the city by foot, less than 10 min by car). PS. There are high stairs to get to the apartment, but it wasn't a problem for us as we read about this in other opinions. Thank you!
