This was one of the best hotels I stayed in. The staff were extremely friendly, very helpful and went out their way to make our trip very enjoyable. Every single member of staff were lovely and just made our stay so much better. They even fixed my husbands glasses, allowed us to shower after we checked out as our flight was in the night. The hotel is very very clean, amazing facilities such as the indoor pool, sauna and roof top with Infinity pool. Breakfast options are good with gluten free options available. You are able to order things from a menu (all for free), such as pancakes, eggs, crepes etc and also enjoy the self-service set up with a range of different foods. Overall, I highly recommend this hotel if you do come to Faro. I would definitely come back!! Thanks to the amazing team!

Great and friendly staff, the rooms were perfect and so comfortable. We had their half board option and there were so many different and tasty options each day. The pool was very clean and from the backyard there is a door that is 300 meters away from the beach.

Everything! I booked the hotel for a 2 night stay for my parent's 53rd wedding anniversary and they loved it! Comfortable beds, great breakfast, fantastic service, friendly staff, room was right next to the pool which they pretty much had to themselves! Stunning building right in the center with very tasteful decor. I messaged the hotel and asked them to put a bottle of wine and some chocolates in the room (i paid a little extra) my parents were overjoyed when they went in the room and saw a bottle of champagne chilling in an ice bucket, with 2 glasses and a box of chocolates! Incredible hotel, with incredible staff and service! Fantastic value for money!

Absolutely loved our stay – felt like a second home! Everything was spotless, cozy, and welcoming—truly no complaints. From the moment we arrived, it just felt right. We were greeted with a bottle of wine, which was the perfect way to kick off the holiday after a flight. We’d asked for a couple of extra duvets since we're used to sleeping under separate ones—didn’t end up needing them, but the staff handled the request quickly and without fuss. Special shoutout to Filipe—what a legend! From the first moment, he showed us around and instantly felt more like a friend than a hotel staff member. He went above and beyond, even making us personalized lists of restaurants and places to check out. We didn’t make it to all of them, so we’re already saving some spots for next time. Hope to see him again on our next visit! The room had everything: bathrobes, slippers, ironing board with iron, coffee machine, teapot, hairdryer—you name it. Our room was cleaned daily with fresh towels, and honestly, that made it feel like a 5-star experience. Nothing beats coming back to a spotless room after a long day out exploring. And the cherry on top - the hotel has the coziest rooftop ever—perfect for sipping wine, reading a book, or just soaking in the sun. Loads of comfy seating and sunbeds.

    Faro is compact enough to see in 2 days.

    Faro is compact enough to see in 2 days. The old town is lovely and will be better when the derelict buildings are renovated . Restaurant is good. We liked O Castelo , the food was excellent, service first class and the Fado singers and players added to the lovely atmosphere . Avoid the little tourist train. It was very uncomfortable/ bumpy. There was no audio explanation on the 45 minute trip which took us round uninteresting areas of the town.

    Amazing beach’s avoid town center even if close to beautiful beaches that are stunning memories of true Algarve but the city itself is very poor , ugly and just a nonsense buildings old to new mixed with no likely or history and cultural care. Outside town center beautiful views , walks and beach’s .

    Visited many times, love the marina, golf courses and restaurants ( Braganca Mar, Pescador, Grace's, United Kitchens of India Casa Pituxa). Parts of Vilamoura are starting to look a little tired and would benefit from investment/ cleaning to refresh it.

    Tavira is very pretty.

    Tavira is very pretty. The architecture of the older buildings is beautiful and every effort is made to keep the period properties as they should be. The River makes a wonderful place to sit and admire its beauty. There are many restaurants to choose from serving fresh fish and delicious Portuguese food.

    Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature,...

    Aljezur is a great location to visit if you like nature, surfing, good food, a slower pace of life. I would recommend staying in Aljezur, getting a car to drive around to different beaches and villages where you can find good restaurants. In the evening, in Aljezur, always book ahead a table.

    Amazing place lots of restaurants and bars but it is all spaced out if you have good legs this is no problem. Of course you can hire a car and drive out at night but if you want to drink you need to walk as we didn't see 1 taxi on our 9 night stay. Find accommodation near to Mareta beach as that's about central. Very young area lots of fit surfing people day and night which is great. There are 3 beaches within walking distance Tonel is the one for surfing if you can do!! Mareta beach is the nicest of the 3. There are many more you can drive to. The fort is interesting. Can be very windy as it is on the cliff top! We love the Algarve the whole lot of it I am addicted to it.

    Carvoeiro is a lovely little town with a beautiful beach,restaurants and shops,The people are so friendly and when u go back year after year they treat u like family,most of the restaurants are excellent but we liked happys the petite restaurant good food and value for money and if u feel like staying out next door is the round up bar,it’s madness but great fun

    Beautiful beaches and overall sights with the limestone cliffs. You can find great food and people are very friendly. The downtown is quite live so you can also find many options for bars and restaurants.
