The reception and breakfast staff were very welcoming. Breakfast hall is lovely with ample of items to choose from including the omlette station. Water bottles and a vodka miniature were provided for free in each room. I also appreciated the coffee machine and the towel housecoat in the room.

One of the best hotels we have stayed in. If we come to the area again, we will definitely come back!!! The hotel is new ,the rooms are clean and shiny and the cleaning staff ensures a high level of cleanliness every day - well done to them! We got 2 rooms with a connecting door so we could be with the kids and we even got an extra comfortable bed. The staff is very friendly. Breakfast is delicious and fresh - although some fruit and cakes were missing, we enjoyed it! The hotel restaurant is excellent! The dishes are delicious and varied (we were there for 6 days and ate at the restaurant every day) - the restaurant staff is professional and nice and always made sure to have delicious dishes for us and our children! The view from the hotel is amazing! Located in front of the mountains on one side and Cantacuzino Castle on the other

It’s very atmospheric place, this is the historical building. Below my window was small mountain river. And castles close to this house. And the nature around is really beautiful. The room was really clean. One of the biggest advantages - their own parking. The staff was helpful. I love this place

The rooms are big with great showers, with a big balcony that has a table and chairs for your own convenience, TV, fridge and ample storage available. Staff are very attentive, kind, and flexible. Sat in grounds with enough space for kids to run around, a barbecue is available if needed. It's on the main route into the centre of Sinaia and Bucharest in the opposite direction. You can walk to the centre of Sinaia and to Peleș quite easily, and buses are frequent, clean, and fast for 3 Ron per journey

The service was top-notch—everyone was friendly, helpful, and made us feel welcome. Our room was spacious and beautifully designed, and the spa was just perfect for relaxing after a day in nature. The food at the restaurant was delicious, with plenty of great options. Everything was fresh and well-prepared. Overall, it was a fantastic experience, and we can’t wait to come back!     Loved the room large and comfortable, great restaurant would highly recommend dining experience, breakfast was good but slightly disorganised we arrived for breakfast at 0820 and nothing was ready. The spa is very good excellent steam room and sauna enjoyed the jacuzzi but felt it lacked a bit of power. The Hotel and facilities are spotless clean, this appears to be a relatively new Hotel and again I will mention the restaurant as we ate twice in it and the food was a very high standard don’t lose your chef!.

    Everything in this hotel is amazing. We went for a night and the facilities were great. We got a Room upgrade for free with Balcony. Spa facilities is included when booking hotel. There was a lot things like, Sauna, Heated pool, Jacuzzi, Stream room and more. The Staff are very Friendly and helpful. The breakfast was amazing. Loads of varieties of foods, juices and coffee

    Sinaia is referred to as the Pearl of the Carpathians. It's long been a destination for people in Romania, Eastern Europe and now Western Europeans and beyond. Plenty of things to do including seeing Pele's Castle, the17th century Sinaia Monastery, take the Tele Cabina up the mountain, Snow Ski in the Winter Time, read the Historical Placards in the Park (you'll learn Sinaia was the first electrified city in Romania) and pay your respects at the WWI cemetery.

    Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley.

    Bușteni really is a gem in the Prahova Valley. Its relatively flat layout compared to nearby towns like Sinaia or Azuga does make it more walkable, especially for longer strolls without steep climbs. Being right at the foot of the Caraiman Peak with the Bucegi Mountains towering around gives it that dramatic, postcard-perfect backdrop. It's no wonder the town has become a favourite for both hikers and casual visitors alike. If you're up for it, the hike or cable car up to the Heroes’ Cross on Caraiman is well worth the effort—stunning views from up there.

    I did have reservations about going to Romania to watch a...

    I did have reservations about going to Romania to watch a sporting event in town but these proved completely unfounded and we thoroughly enjoyed our 12 day stay. Yes, the town does have the hallmarks of an ex eastern block design but that just adds character and charm of these and other period buildings in amongst the newer westernised designs. All the bars and restaurants we went into were very accommodating, clean, polite and above all reasonably priced compered to UK. Everyone we met out and about was polite and accommodating despite and language barriers - we all got there in the end!! I would gladly go back and explore a little bit more and the nearby locations of Bran Castle (Dracula) and Brasov a definite must whilst you are there too

    Unexpectedly, one of the most beautiful and nature-rich, as well as history rich places in Romania. The legendary Hasdeu castle, as well as the House of Nicolae Grigorescu museum are here. The Brebu Monastery is Heaven on Earth to see. Also, don't miss the Doftana Valley. One of the best and easiest trips to take, from Bucharest.

    Good to visit during ski season. Little to do outside of it. Not to mention the access from Bucharest and even Brasov. Awful traffic all thorough the year. Many hours spent is a standstill queue. Other much better alternatives available.

    Not sure what one can do in Slanic besides visiting the salt mine. The city seems to be in some sort of limbo; on one side some of the streets are coquettish and clean and quite, on the other side it is not a city bustling with life. At all.

    Nice quaint town in the middle of the Dealu Mare wine region about 2 hours drive from Bucharest. Some decent eating choices in the town of Mizil about 15 minutes away. There are lot of modern wineries with good inexpensive wines within 15-25 minutes. We had excellent personalized wine tours at LacertA winery & Budureasca winery with the wine makers. It was exceptional at both the places.

    Nice houses, including some old ones.

    Nice houses, including some old ones. Take the time to go by car towards Pucioasa, there are some great views. Visit "Livada David" a big surface orchard, with own products for sale. On the minus side, some streets are just for one car, even if on the map it may look like any other street. Stick to the main streets for wondering by car.

    A lot of tourists both foreigners and Romanians came to Sinaia and Peleș Castle during my stay. Peleș and Pelișor are a must. So are Furnica Complex, Carmen Sylva's lane and Sinaia Monastery. But the town itself, once a royal location, has many sights to offer: old houses, some of them restored, the Ghica Park, the Casino, Palace and Caraiman Hotels. Good confectionery and nice atmosphere at Caramello.

    If you're visiting to go see the mountains this is a great place. If you're looking for a city to walk through and do stuff in, it's almost useless. You can find good food, sure. But nothing to do in the city, per say. The attraction comes from the amazing mountain routes.
