Pirot is a small town so you can make the most of your stay by walking around and sight seeing, we specifically went to Vlasi village which has beautiful mountains and a small river, the perfect escape from your hectic city life into a quite serene nature haven. Pirot and it's surroundings offer so much. Waterfalls, lakes, hiking. The town itself can be explored in a couple of days, worth it. However, you might find there is insufficient information and must rely on navigation. Otherwise, food is good and 20% cheaper than in Belgrade. Very pleasant, friendly and open minded people. Gastronomy, as a main reason for arrival in Pirot, was out of this world. All 5 places that we visited served fantastic meals: Dukat, Kraljev cardak, Mali pevac, Ladna voda i Nisavska dolina.Guest review byNenadCroatia
