- From US$396.47 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 7.9Good - What previous guests thought, 541 reviewsWe stayed at Patatran Village Hotel in "Captain’s Room" which was the only accommodation in the main building with the reception and restaurant, the other accomodations they have are in some buildings across the street which we didn't stay or visit at all. So my review might be above the average for this hotel, since "Captain’s Room" was really the most unique accommodation we’ve been so far! "Captain’s Room" was on the highest floor with large windows , 3 balconies, with almost a 360 degree view. So now, the unique thing about this room was that the view to the ocean gave the feeling that we were on a deck of a ship, and adding to that the room decoration was specific to a ship with beautiful museum-like objects. We celebrated my wife’s birthday there and it was an incredible experience, we had amazing sunrises, sunsets, dramatic storm, such lovely moments! The access to the idyllic beach, pool, restaurant was easy, just down the stairs. The staff was really nice! So many incredible spots to have the meals. We could even choose to have the dinner right on the beach, just that it was a stormy evening that day. Since it was my wife's birthday they arranged a festive table for us at breakfast and dinner. Our booking was with half board included and the variety of food was great, we especially loved the breakfast. We had so much fun on the pool and also great spots for pictures on the beach and everywhere else. The beach is one of the most beautiful on the island, too bad the storm came with some big waves so we couldn't fully enjoy swimming in the ocean. I’ll just leave some pictures, because there aren't enough words for such a dream place. One of a kind experience!Guest review byRaduRomania
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.2Very good - What previous guests thought, 111 reviews+ The beautiful and cool design of the chalet (maisonette style, open concept etc.) + Practical curtains to block the sun out of the sitting area if needed + Huge bed + So much space in general (for hanging clothes, to sit and chill, to cook....) + Amazing view, especially to watch bats and sunsets + No need to carry drinking water up the hill - it was provided by the host (12 litre containers) + The hill wasn't as bad/steep as some of the reviews say - if you are average fit, you can walk up without any problems + Kitchen equipment was very easy to clean (intact teflon frying pans etc.) and nothing was missing, you also have everything you need to wash the dishes + Having our own washing machine saved our trip :-) + Shuttle service from the ferry (small charge) + Friendly and helpful staff + You are not disturbed by anyone else, very secluded spot + Small swimming pool + Payment by credit card is possible, only extras like tourism tax and water need to be paid cash THANK YOU FOR EVERYTHING!!!Guest review byBirgitSwitzerland
- From US$293.25 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 364 reviewsFrom the moment we arrived, we were made very welcome including a free complimentary drink and assistance getting our bags to our room. Throughout our stay, the staff went out of their way to ensure we had all we needed and that we had the best time possible. The breakfasts we had every morning included fresh local fruits, fresh fruit juice, toast, eggs and tea or coffee. The restaurant and take away were very popular to all who were visiting the island and the food was lovely. The accommodation offered all that you needed and the rooms were cleaned every day. The icing on the cake were the staff, this is a family run business, they were always happy and willing to talk to you and assist in any way they could. In summary a great guest house that i would highly recommend to all.Guest review byStephenUnited Kingdom

So easy to spend a few days here, visiting as many beaches as possible via bike, walking or boat or just relaxing in the garden of our guest house. It was not as expensive as we were expecting based on what others had told us; the food was delicious wherever we ate and there are two well stocked supermarkets for snacks and drinks!Guest review bySamAustralia - 10.0

Great island - really laid back and everyone on bicycles to get around. I did the hike to Anse Marron which was difficult due to the terrain but totally in nature and the natural surroundings - I loved it. This is definitely not for the faint of heart as we were in caves waiting for the tide to go out with 10 seconds to get up a rock kind of deal but man it was cool. For a longer Seychelles stay I would stay here for sure.Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
La Digue is an absolute gem in the Seychelles and one of the...
La Digue is an absolute gem in the Seychelles and one of the most picturesque islands we’ve ever visited. From the moment you arrive, you're greeted by a relaxed and peaceful atmosphere, where time seems to slow down. The island is small and easy to explore—bicycles are the main mode of transport, adding to its laid-back charm. The beaches are truly breathtaking, with crystal-clear turquoise waters and powdery white sand. Anse Source d'Argent, in particular, lives up to the hype—it's like stepping into a postcard. Beyond the beaches, the island has lush greenery, granite rock formations, and a warm, welcoming local culture. What makes La Digue even more special is how untouched and authentic it feels. There are no big resorts or heavy crowds, just a perfect blend of nature, tranquility, and friendly people. Whether you're relaxing on the beach, cycling around the island, or watching the sunset by the ocean, La Digue is a place you’ll never forget.Guest review byDecy GPhilippines
