- From US$344.62 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.0Superb - What previous guests thought, 204 reviewsWe visited in the winter when it was snow covered, magical and unique, quiet enough to spend a bit of time chatting with the wonderful Tommy and Marion. They really went above and beyond - Marion cooked up the best meal of our life using the Atlantic salmon we brought back from a fishing charter Tommy organised. You do not need to be a surfer to love this place, only our son is and he surfed all day every day he was so impressed - the variety of surf boards to rent was outstanding too. Everything was incredible, from the fabulous Beach Villa which was spacious with its own sauna, hot tub, and beautiful view over the beach, running/walking along the waters edge, and of course the northern lights. And definitely the worlds best cinnamon buns - we each had one every day we were there, and took a bag away with us, they are that good! We definitely plan to be backGuest review byEdwinAustralia
- From US$229.51 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.1Very good - What previous guests thought, 1,884 reviewsWhat a grand old hotel. It is stunningly beautiful, and perfectly located at one end of famous Sjøgata. My room looked out over the little hotel garden with beautiful lights decorating the trees, and the river just behind it. Very tranquil. My single room was reachable through a sort of rustic vestibule decorated with beautiful old furniture. There was a staircase down to the main restaurant, where soft piano music came up. Very nice, I liked to sit and listen. My room was actually 3 rooms, an antechamber, a main room with dresser and armchair, and the bedroom. I'm impressed. Bathroom was spaceous. The hotel offers multiple restaurants and bars, including a cocktail bar. Staff was very friendly, Breakfast was rich with everything from cereals to mini pancakes.Guest review byBirgitAustria

Could go swimming daily Beautiful rooms with self catering which was great. Supermarkets within 10 minutes walk. The place was fully booked but still had.okenty of space to use facilities without running into too many others. Options if bike rental though I had a full itinerary as it was. Overall comfortable, great value and a beautiful setting .Guest review byGarethIreland

Bodø isnt a common or popular tourist destination for most visitors to Norway but it has a lot to offer, from restaurants, beaches, nature hikes and excursions, northern lights, and of course not to forget Saltstraumen. It is colder than other cities in Norway as it is the windiest city in Norway, so be prepared for that.Guest review byMax - 10.0

Reine is the crown jewel of the Lofoten Islands — probably one of the most beautiful places on earth. Surrounded by dramatic peaks and crystal waters, it offers stunning views at every turn. Perfect for hiking adventures, yet still full of charm with its picture-perfect fishing villages and cozy vibe.Guest review byDenizTurkey - 8.0
We loved the beauty of the city.
We loved the beauty of the city. Tourist information staff were very friendly and helpful with information for sightseeing. War museum is excellently presented. Gondola ride to the top of Narvikfjellet is a must to see the beautiful sights from above Buses were easy to use and the plenty of shopping centres. We loved all the memorial statues, a beautiful city. We also took a ride on the Arctic Train, suggest this is a day time trip to see the amazing scenery.Guest review byChezAustralia - 10.0

Leknes is not the real tourist draw in the lofoten, but is central with a lot of busses going through if you don't bring a car. The bakery near the bus station and Sakura can be recommended. We didn't try other places.Guest review byFredericusUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Such an incredible place!
Such an incredible place! I visited in off season and two out of three days had good enough weather to explore. The third day had the most intense wind I have experienced, so it wasn’t safe to explore. I was happy with this experience but depending on what you want you may want to visit in summer, so that the trails aren’t so muddy. Even when they are, there is plenty of scenic routes to walk in between the towns!Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0

Ballstad is a pituresque fishing village surronded by mountains. It's located right in the center of Lofoten which makes it a great base for those we want to explore the archipelago. Buksnes church is charming and a must see. Also it's near to Leknes where you can find a lot of stores and supermarkets. Ballstad will have a special place in our hearts as it was where we saw the most fantastic Aurora show which we were expecting for so long.Guest review byLeonardoPortugal - 6.0

We loved our stay in Bodø although we didn’t see much of the city itself. We hiked up Keiservarden, went to the Pust Sauna with a dip in the freezing ocean, went on a moose safari at night and ended our trip with a visit to the Luftfahrtmuseum.Guest review bySaraSpain
