Slovakiathe accommodation was in a wonderful, clean mountain environment. they welcomed us warmly and with homemade liquor. the staff was so nice and helpful, they really helped us with everything. at the reception you can buy homemade jams and some meat products. the small restaurant on the ground floor is very cozy, you can have good food and drinks there. the room will take your breath away with its view. everything is clean, the bed is comfortable. at breakfast you are treated like a king, you can choose from homemade products, meat, salami, yogurts and homemade jams, etc. I was very pleased with the fresh croissants. They have an amazing dog Tami - we played with her every day. this hotel will leave you with a wonderful pleasant feeling, you won't want to leave. we will definitely come back here again

Building is quite new and all furniture and bathroom was made with excellent taste. It is situated in the middle of the Robanov Kot valley surrounded by mountains. Let's say that no phone service and WiFi is a plus. Shops are available in villages a few minutes by car. An excellent location for outdoor activities, especially hiking and cycling. The nature here is really beautiful and we visited this region several times. It also has several really nice restaurants with local specialties and organic food. This time we cycled to Pavličevo sedlo and along the panoramic road and went on a hike towards Matkov škaf. Last time we hiked to ancient cave Potočka zijalka and Ostrica mountain. We ate at the Majerhold mountain lodge below Pavličev sedlo, at the Žibovt farm by the panoramic road, and at the Ojstrica restaurant in the Logarska dolina. Everyone is very friendly. Solcava was a beautiful village, very close to Logar Valley. The views are spectacular! The air is so fresh and crisp. It is very soothing for the soul. We hiked to Slap Rinka and drove the Panoramic Road. We would have liked to have more time for hiking and exploring. The only downside would be lack of restaurants. We were there in May, so I'm not sure if there may be more options in high season but we had a difficult time finding a place for dinner. The place we ended up was in Luce, Gostlina PR Lampi. The food was very good traditional Slovenian food and excellent wine. Our waiter had a wonderful personality and was a joy to visit with.Guest review byElaineUnited States
