The 4 star hotel is calm, and offering all kind of services required at this level. We had a family room (2 rooms linked with a door) with bathroom/shower on each side. Rooms had large balconies with a beautiful view on the marina and the ruins of the medieval church. Parking was available 200 meters away at the Grand Hotel Bernardin for free. Very good breakfast and dinner in a nice place, having high variety and high quality of food and beverages. Pool area is quiet and family friendly with slides and whirlpool for the kids. It is also possible to go out to the seaside with using your card and have a bath in the sea as well. Despite the October we have tried it and the water was lovely. Location on headland was magical. Room with balcony overlooking the sea clean, comfortable and modern. The view over the beach is spectacular. You can see Trieste on one side and as far as Grado on the other side. So either enjoy a swim in the sea or have a stroll in the old town. A pleasant place mainly thanks to the people and services in the area. It is more about getting to know and meeting people. There are no nice beaches here, the coast is just a pile of concrete. Piran is a beautiful town to visit.
Piran is a beautiful town to visit. The view of it from the Walls of Piran is stunning. Great places to eat and some lovely beaches for swimming. It is quite small, so can be done quite quickly, but there are some great marked walks around the area along the coast with stunning views across to Izola and Trieste... A lovely small town at the sea where everything is reachable by foot so you can enjoy endless walks. Extremely beautiful sunsets at the marina area, lovely Venetian architecture, tasty cuisine. Very underestimated because of Piran's popularity but very cozy and comfortable for a leisure vacation. Lovely green beach Slovene Riviera and nearby Zusterna. Divača is a quiet town/village on the railwy line between...
Divača is a quiet town/village on the railwy line between Ljubljana and Koper. It is very close to both Lipica and to skočjanske Jame. These caves are my favourites in Slovenia, although not to be visited if you have a problem walking.. The park surrounding the caves is very beautiful too. Divača itself is quiet, but has a Cinema museum, which is popular with those interested in early silent films. There area few trains three each day, and also a bus service during the week. Not at the weekend, however, as I found to my cost on another occasion when I drove a friend's car home for her - and then found there were no buses on Saturdays by which to travel back to the coast!, and the next train would have kept me late for my meeting. Luckily, there were others around to heading the same way. While Skočjam and Lipica are open all year, there are also smaller caves in the area which are open only in the tourist season. To drive there from the coast takes about 30 minutes, and about the same driving time will take you to Postojna and the more famous caves there, or to Predjamskigrad, an amazing Castle , most of which is inside the mountain, hence its name - the castle in front of the cave.Guest review byAnnSlovenia - 10.0

The house with the two apartments is simply great - there is absolutely everything you need, its spaceous, super clean, very well equipped, the AC works very well as well as wifi.
