From rooms in the upper floors, to ground level rooms with access to a small pool and also bungalow style places with direct view over the beach and sea. I stayed in a ground level room with pool access, the latter was a nice addition for a quick cooldown. The room was spacious, clean with a big and comfortable bed and offered a big bathroom with shower and bathtub, too. The Resort offers a community pool with Poolbar and access to a pretty big part of the beach, both included sun shades and sun loungers for free. The breakfast buffet is fantastic. The restaurant inside the resort offers drinks and tasty food, both Western and Thai style, with a great view over the beach and sea. The food can also be ordered and delivered to the room. Also, on special occasions there are events with live music / singers. What made my stay at the Resort go from a 8 or 9 to a 10, was the staff, though. Everyone was very friendly and accommodating and if there was a problem, it got fixed quickly. But I have to give a special shout-out to Bovee and her team (Tu, Bank, Yui, Ao, Bet and Flem), all of them going above and beyond to make my stay there a very fun and enjoyable vacation, that left me with a lot of great memories and the wish to come back! Stayed on the beach and didn't venture in to the town of Chaweng, or the high street, didn't need to. A mix of resorts and hotels on the beach, from 5* to 3*, all offering great locations, food and friendly service. Some were child friendly, and very shallow waters safe for kids or non swimmers. Chaweng Noi Beach was one of my favorite spots on Koh Samui. It’s incredibly beautiful — soft white sand, calm turquoise water, and a peaceful atmosphere that feels like a little escape from the busier parts of the island. I loved how quiet and relaxed it was, perfect for swimming or just lying under the sun. The view with the green hills around was stunning. That said, it’s not the best during low tide — the rocks and coral can make it tricky to get in the water. Also, there’s not much going on nearby in terms of shops or nightlife, and some areas can get a bit pricey because of the luxury resorts. Chaweng is a beautiful destination for a chill out holiday The Jungle Tour is definitely worth doing & don't be afraid to barter the price Lots of eateries with great selection of food to choose from Fishermans Market is very pretty at night & there are bargains to be had If you hire a car or scooter - by careful if you like to dabble in the Green because the Police will pull you over & you will get a hefty fine - not worth it - grab a taxi or the local rides (which are cheap)Guest review byRuth WalkerUnited Kingdom - 4.0

I wouldn't go back. I was so disappointed by Koh Samui, I thought it was a nice place to go but aside from beautiful beaches and the views from the mountains, its really rough and run down. Chaweng itself is like Magaluf. The strip is awful. But if you like that then you'd probably like it but not being a drinker or a partier I really hated it. I think I would prefer to go a bit further to Lamai beach. 10km away. The private taxi from the airport cost 400baht to go the 2 km. Walk past the desk and locate a normal taxi. I found that the normal price for a taxi is 500baht for 10km or 600baht for 15km.Guest review bysmith - 10.0

It is beautiful, wonderful, crystal clear, turquoise water. Do NOT let the reviews that say that this beach is "busy, loud, too crowded" deter you from coming. We were here in January-February during peak season and it was perfect! Never too crowded and never too empty. Perfect in my experience, I would come back.
