The restaurant staff are amazing as usual, especially the ones having to deal with mad hungry crowds at breakfast. They have european style high quality beds, which support your back really well. They cleaned my room every day while I was getting coffee. I recently had the pleasure of staying at Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping in Chiang Mai, and I can confidently say it was one of the most incredible hospitality experiences I’ve ever had. Every request we made was met with genuine warmth and enthusiasm, which made our stay even more special. The glamping site itself is immaculately maintained, with cleanliness being a top priority. Surrounded by the soothing sounds of a nearby waterfall 24/7, it truly felt like we were immersed in nature. It’s the perfect place to disconnect from the hustle of everyday life and reconnect with the serene beauty of the outdoors. One of the most magical moments was at night—around 11 PM onwards, the sky came alive with countless stars, offering an awe-inspiring view you rarely get to experience in the city. If you’re looking for a solid glamping experience with unparalleled hospitality, breathtaking natural surroundings, and starry skies, Lhong Chiang Dao Glamping is the place to go. Chom Tong is a small town about 1.5 hour from Chiang Mai. Travellers use it as the base to explore Doi Inthanon. The property is far from anything and the road is quite hard to get up especially at night as there are no street lights. The view is easily the main attraction though as well as the bathtub. Mae Chaem is an amazing little village with great air quality, which is a rare thing in Thailand. With lots of greenery and nature trails, you'll never get bored in this place. We recently visited Chiang Mai and had a great time. Mid Sept is still off season and occasional rains but its not a spoiler at all. Awesome places to eat and shop. Weekend visit is recommended as lots of markets are only on weekends so can take advantage of that. Amazing Vegetable and fruit markets. Would be great to take a Airbnb and cook a nice meal while there. We visited Thaphae Gate, Jingjai Market, Wat Phra Singh, Wat lok Moli to name a few and they were all good. We recommend Siam Bike rentals for good deals for Bikes. We stayed at Jonah hotel and it was great value for money. Eating places Bodhi Cafe , Khoi Soi Mesai and Coconut shell restaurant to name a few. The night market near Marriott Hotel is a must visit.Guest review byNiharIndia - 10.0

Welcoming little town well worth visiting. The temple and the caves are great but the best thing for me was that I stumbled into a bar up near the cave which is called . . The Cave bar.
