I had a fantastic stay at the Boutique hotel owned by Alex. Despite being in a wheelchair, Alex's courage and determination shine through. Carine's friendliness and assistance with boat transfers and taxis were invaluable. Susan, a lovely Thai lady, added to the charm. With only 5-6 rooms, the hotel feels like a secluded paradise reminiscent of Melrose Place, ensuring privacy while still offering opportunities to meet other couples. The hotel, accommodating up to 14 persons, is perfect for private rentals with family and friends. The location, just a 2-minute walk from the beach, is ideal, and the affordable and delicious beachside food adds to the overall experience. I look forward to returning in the future. Highly recommend!

I had a great time at Moon Travel Phangan. Jon the owner was super friendly and helpful the entire time..he gave advice on what to go see on Koh Phangan, recommended bars and a place to rent a scooter. He let me switch to a nicer room right on arrival He gave me a great deal when I extended my stay and even drove me to the taxi station when I left. The room itself was clean and comfortable, with a little balcony to hang out in the evening. I slept really well (my room was towards the road, so people motorbikes could be heard quite well, but with earplugs this was no problem). The room had a fridge and a shower with hot water. When I come back to Koh Phangan, I will stay here again for sure!

It‘s the first time I write a review on Booking because I feel a certain need for it. we stayed 10 nights with our little ones at Sand In My Shoes and it was THE perfect hideaway. Thong Nai Pan Noi is still the best place on Phangan - a cosy small village which offers enough restaurants, shops and massage studios - and of course a beautiful pitoresque beach. You wanna see lots of tourists and party all night…? Go somewhere else instead! The staff of Sand In My Shoes is far beyond regular. Maymay, Taylor and the boss, Ja, are true champions hospitality. The food is delicious and the whole hotel and all of it‘s areas are just beautiful

A Slice of Paradise! I had an incredible experience! The people were warm and welcoming, making it easy to connect with others. The beach is beautiful, providing the perfect spot to relax. The workshops were fantastic, offering excellent growth opportunities. The facilities were excellent and well-maintained, and the staff at reception were friendly and helpful. Will start with the staff: most kind and adorable staff ever, from door man, to receptionist , restaurant server, to the cleaners, everyone was above kind with us throughout the whole stay. they give their best to give you the best experience possible. The room!!! We got the pool villa with ocean view, and I have no words to describe!!!! it was magical. the view is amazing. the room is huge!! with a lot of attention to details. You can chose your preferred pillow from a list of available pillows. You have detergent if you need to wash your clothes really colicky. a bag to take to the beach with your belongings. they give you lots of free water and also fruit on your room daily. the room was just perfect. if you can, take the pool villa, you won’t regret 😍 The pool: huuuuuuuge pool with a breathtaking view to the ocean. just beautiful. no words!!! Breakfast: not 1000 choices but for our taste is more than enough. AND , the BEST CAPPUCCINO of my life was offered by Panviman !! omg! still dreaming about that cappuccino, and the iced cappuccino!! delicious. please order any type of coffee in the morning and they will give you the best of your life 🤤 The place: the hotel has everything in front of the door! Starting by food : just in front of the hotel you’ll find a food hall (Testy Corner) and I’ll just say one word = DELICIOUS ! Best Thai food ever , and we’ve been in Thailand for more than 15 days already!! we’ve tried every single corner/restaurant there, and all of them were beyond delicious just yummy yummy!!! you will not want to eat anywhere else 🤤 Also, in front of the hotel you’ll find a 7/11, some bars, scooter rental. everything you need. to sum up, this was by far the best hotel experience in Thailand , and maybe Top 3 ever!

    This hotel is absolutely amazing and has an incredible service level. Everyone was so sweet and helpful. Everything was coordinated and it was very well done by every detail in the room and around the hotel. The area is beautiful and it’s very easy to go there with their shuttle service from Koh Samui. We tried their spa on our first day. Had the sports massage and it was perfect to loosing up tension after a long trip and to get relaxed for the stay. After the massage we enjoyed some tea in the beautiful surroundings with the stunning view. We also tried their cooking class and their chef was really good at explaining all the details about the food and giving us great tips. Really loved it! Can highly recommended you try it if you want to know more about Thai cuisine. The gym is really good and big for a hotel gym. Has great equipment and a beautiful view inside the jungle. The hotel is near a beach with lovely restaurants and shops which was perfect if you wanted to see something else during the day. The island itself has many opportunities to explore so this hotel was absolutely perfect to come back to after day trips. This hotel would be the ideal honeymoon hotel or a spa getaway. I truly understand why this hotel has won so many awards because they surely know how to deliver. I would definitely want to go back and visit some day.

    Hotel is located near Haad Rin Beach where Full Moon parties occur. There are shops, restaurants and other amenities nearby. Hotel was great, staff was helpful with information and also helped us with our baggage. Room was big enough for us, AC was working, there was also a fridge in the room. There is also a pool which we only used once. We walked to Leela Beach (totally recommend!) and Sunset Beach. We arrived from Koh Samui to Haad Rin Pier and walked easily to the hotel. A lovely lady working at the reception helped us book a transportation from the hotel to Thong Sala Pier and then to Surat Thani Train Station.

    It's like a 5 star hotel. So clean. The rooms are just perfect. Huge, bright. The bed is good. Finally, a normal madrass in thailand. And the pillows are great. Polite and nice staff. Lovely area around with the beach just in front of you. The hotel restaurant had very good prices. We didn't try the pool, but it looked lovely.

    Private villa with our own pool that was cooling also when the infinity pool and sea were too hot. Beautiful and well-kept garden. This area sometimes has too low seawater level due to tide but in front of our hotel it was always possible to go into water. Very nice staff! As we stayed 2 weeks we got to see fireworks 3times.

    Seetanu is a little paradise. We had a bungalow on the beach and it was absolutely stunnjng. It is a quiet beach and it has a peaceful vibe. the room looked like it was just renovated and the bed was good! The staff was very friendly and it has a good restaurant. I would defenitly recommemd it.

    Not the nicest part of island.

    Not the nicest part of island. Geared towards full moon party, laughing gas and fire shows. Quiet when not full moon in a nice way but the town is run down. Haad Rin beach is beautiful though. Saw quite a few families which was nice. Rented our bike from here and explored the island for a few days. Road between Haad Rin and Thong Sala and everywhere else on the East/West of the island is very steep hills to ride by bike.

    I choose to stay in Bann Tai for its central location. There are much nicer locations on the island to stay, however if you are like me, and like to explore, then this location is best as its in the middle of the coast line, and its close to central heart road ways that take you to any part of the island quickly.

    The night life - bars, cafés, markets, and I enjoyed getting a massage after all the walking around. There are many massage parlors and massages are so affordable here. Also, the service at the massage parlors is very good.

    Amazing place on the island.

    Amazing place on the island. Lots of cafe's, restaurants and more. Nothing is too far really, jump on the bike and go 15min to another spot, be very careful in the corners when riding your bike......lots of people get a "Koh Phangan" tattoo there meaning they crash and the scars. Sand in corners means, slow down!!! I recommend Papaya Massage for great Thai and oil massage. Enjoy a great beautiful Phangan.

    Lovely area on Koh Phangan.

    Lovely area on Koh Phangan. Many local and also westernised food places (Ann's and Shish Kebab were our favourites!), shops and of course pristine beaches. Worth hiring a scooter to explore around and enjoy the island vibes.

    Great location , lovely village great restaurants, not over crowded , family friendly. We ate in many local restaurants , the food was superb and very reasonably . Good variety of shops and supermarkets , we didn't travel outside the resort as didn't need to but plenty of taxis if needed

    Aside from the turquoise water, there is a reef just a few yards from the shore where you can snorkel and see beautiful fish, big clams, and coral. Although much of the coral is bleached and dead, there's enough living coral there for adults and kids to enjoy. Since the water is shallow, it's safe to walk all the way out where it gets a little deeper for better snorkeling. The beach is a white sand beach, but we recommend swim shoes which are available at a little grocery store, along with snorkel masks. Many beachside restaurants to choose from. Although there is no public shower, some restaurants have an outdoor shower available.

    I was in haad rin beach, it pretty much is a village. A nice one, but no sidewalks, everything is cheap, a bit dirty. Compared to Phuket it really is a small village. But the full moon party was amazing, so much fun! So it definitely was worth it!

    Location - it was like a dream.

    Location - it was like a dream. And they had a broom right outside our door so when the inevitable sand was tracked into our room, we could clean it up. We never ate in the restaurant so I can't say how it was, but the other options nearby were excellent. If you're staying longer than 3 nights and want to see more than just the hotel and its surroundings, you'll want to rent a scooter.

    I was expecting Haad Rin to be more crowded, dirty, and over touristy. But it wasn't! Yes, there are plenty of shops and bars and the streets are a little lively, but the beach itself is spacious, clean, and so relaxing. We aren't partiers and we had a fantastic stay in this area.
