- From US$137.64 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.3Superb - What previous guests thought, 904 reviewsWe stayed in the Beach Front Suite for three nights during our month-long trip to Thailand. This was our second location of many to come. I am writing this review after our trip, and I highly recommend this as one of the best places we stayed during our journey. I highly recommend staying at this hotel if you are in Koh Mak. Our room was unique and offered a lot of privacy. We even tanned naked on the terrace on the second floor. The hotel offers yoga classes led by a yoga teacher from Belgium who has been living here for 8 years. It was an incredible experience. During our 3-day stay, I was able to have a private lesson with her and participate in two group activities. We also had a 2-hour workshop where we released a lot of emotions and had a great time.Guest review byPovilasLithuania
- From US$55.50 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.7Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 143 reviewsLovely peaceful spot. Loved our little bungalow - simple and clean, and so close to the water. Nice little balcony to sit on. We could pull the curtains in the morning and see the stunning sunrise. Lots of nice places to sit and read or chill around the property on seats, bean bags, hammocks. Very easy to rent a scooter (250 baht). The nicest rental scooter I’ve ever had - in perfect condition. Very nice breakfast with lovely staff. We had drinks and dinner there one night which was also really nice. A great place to watch the sunset.Guest review byKeithAustralia

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.2Superb - What previous guests thought, 574 reviewsThis resort was one of the best we had during our holiday in the Thai islands. The rooms were spacious and clean, and the the leisure area was just what we needed. The restaurant has been surprisingly good and the staff has been extremely friendly and helpful (our special thanks to Mouy, Nat and GoGo). Also the fact that the hotel has it's own motorbike rent service is a big plus.Guest review bygmafteiRomania

I felt like every need I had was addressed and taken care of immediately. A standard fan room was comfortable and not too hot with the breeze and you can't beat the view!Guest review byBrandonCanada

Koh Mak is quite small but beautiful and has a lot of nature. Good kick-boxing school. Variety of good eating places Koh Mak seafood being one of them. It is far more relaxed than Koh Chang with less to do but I actually found the peacefulness and serenity more alluring. The people are friendly and it has a up early sleep when the sunsets kind of vibe but also if you want to be out later you can. There are some very picturesque beaches and bars. Also a variety of takes on food By the sea has great sandwiches etc. If the weather turns bad then this is when the boredom may be an issue. However I loved the thunderstorms and lightening shows. Best I had ever seen.Guest review byMarty TUnited Kingdom - 10.0

After researching on Google satellite I was pleasantly surprised when we arrived. Much lusher and more tourist-friendly than I expected. Though it's a small island, there's enough there to explore more than we could in 3 nights. And it is the ideal launching site to visit the famous diving and snorkeling sites around Koh Rang island. Five nights would be adequate, unless you're a snorkeling/diving addict, then maybe more.Guest review byFredUnited States - 8.0

Very small island which is still kind of rural and not very touristy. That also means that there are not many amenities or fun things you can do. Accommodations are more basic, food or bar options are limited, and you've seen all of the island in a few hours. But you can also have a perfect chill time without any noisy tourist crowds or big loud party areas. Beaches are great. If you want more action, just take the ferry to Ko Chang (once a day).Guest review byTyeJ_travelGermany
