The resort is quite large but not a problem as they have a buggy service that picks you up within two minutes to take you places. We only used that at night as enjoyed riding the complimentary push bikes around the resort during the day. The restaurant was amazing. The seafood was the best we had in Thailand. The buffet was incredible. It was quiet and comfortable. Loved how it was away from the main part of the island. And don’t let that put you off either, you can easily get a long tail boat to and from the main island town. We would’ve love to visit again. It was clean and had everything we needed (even Netflix!), shower had always hot water available. The location was the best part: it's on the most beautiful quiet beach that we had ever seen!! The sand is white, water turquoise, beach not crowded. There's quite a walk to reach the center of Phi Phi, but we only stayed for two nights so we didn't even want to leave this quiet secluded paradise to visit the overcrowded "city" center. We also liked the resort restaurant. Menu has a good selection of everything, and we liked everything we ate. He was fantastic service. All the staff was so friendly, breakfast was very good and my room was delightful overlooking the beautiful bay and the wonderful colours with flowers and trees surrounding the area, the pool was OK but needed a little bit of TLC Still nice. Stay away from the main town part if you want some quiet. It's over commercialized, and touristy. The resorts are overpriced for their services and amenities. However we loved Long Beach. It was a beautiful beach. If you like tea, I recommend you bring it from home. It's very hard to find good black tea in Thailand. When I stepped off the ferry, I was in absolutely awe, and immediately fell in love. It's a beautiful, small island, still packed with bars, restaurants and shops. I only stayed one night and I think 2 nights would have been enough. I did the phi phi viewpoint hike, which was killer, especially in the heat. It did get crowded for sunset, so grab your pictures before the crowd arrives. You can walk everywhere, no transport on the island as not needed. I ate at the pirate bar/restaurant, great beach view seating. I also ate at a little cafe near my accommodation, but can't remember the name......Guest review byLacyAustralia
