    The whole place was exceptional! The staff, the food, the room, the location, and our experience at The Loop was 10/10. The staff, from the cleaning girls, bar staff, reception, massage ladies, and the maintenance crew were all amazing, friendly, and nothing was too much trouble. I am surprised this resort does not have a 5* rating! We cannot wait to visit again, and wish we could have stayed for longer. I would like to keep this place a secret as it was probably the best holiday we have had anywhere in the world, (and we have been all over!) but we enjoyed it so much we just have to say how great it was. Thanks to everyone from Joyce, Barnaba, Lucia, Olivia, Mona, and Makkame and everyone we have forgotten to mention, but we loved them all... I have not been paid to say these great things about The Loop....you just have to go and stay there to see that it's all 100% true! See you soon guys and girls! xxxx

    The best place in over 1 month in Tanzania . We enjoyed our short stay in Belvedere Resort .Everything was over our expectations. Helpful staff (sometimes slow but we understand african rythmus), good service and to see the sunrise from the bed everyday is breathtaking. Thank you for our best experience in Zanzibar !

    Jerry is a wonderful Location next to the beach. We stayed there for 4 days and enjoyed it The staff was very helpful and supportive. The rooms are nice and clean. And Jambiani is a nice and quiet place to stay. Next time I would go there again.

    beautiful beach!!!!

    beautiful beach!!!! However not the best beach for bathing because when is lower tide you simply have to walk to much for a swim. beach in the north are better if you have kids. Much more quiet than Page and less windy as well. Very safe neighborhood with nice restaurants.

    Paradise …Jim’s, Salim, Irene and Juliane were exceptional always ready to help. They just couldn’t do enough for you. The reception staff especially Yusef were very accommodating especially as we arrived very early from Dar-es-Salam! They let us drop our bags and enjoy all the facilities until our room was ready! We had a wonderful stay in Paradise.

    Just up the beach from Paje town, a little quieter but thats what was nice. Wandered to different restaurants along the beach for lunch and dinner. Limited during off season but enough open. We came via Dar Es Salaam airport and ferry. If you can't get an e-visa before arrival, plan 2hrs to exit the airport. We missed our booked ferry and had to pay again for the last ferry on a different company. Used Zanzibar Quest to book the ferry and transport with exemplary service and support via whatsapp and email. The new travel insurance requirement $50p/p on top of the $50p/p visa fee is a scam that mars the experience. The amount of times we had to show our passport and visa / travel insurance was reminiscent of the cold war. Inefficient and overboard. So if you can fly direct to Zanzibar and use e-visa or have patience and a loose schedule. The drive to the Page beach area took about 1 ½ hrs with the first ⅓ taking ¾ of the time with a typical african road experience. Get a good driver. Driving licenses are issued by testing payment of fee. The driver booked by Zanzibar Quest was excellent. Great beach, wind was consistent during the afternoon to either kite or cool down. Bring sunscreen and mosquito repellent. Not a fan of the immigration process or the fees.

    I've been in Makunduchi before and if you don't want to be in the tourist hotspot it is great! The beach is fantastic (but be aware of the low and high tides). I would recommend arranging for a driver to get around as there are many great places to visit and you shouldn't stay put in just one place.
