- Scored out of 10, guest rating 9.1Superb - What previous guests thought, 2,779 reviewsNice hotel in a convenient location in the Seaport district (the Silver Line that connects to Boston is just across the road), and proximity to the harbour meant nice sea views from our room. The large size of the room was a plus too, especially when some other Boston hotels are tiny— you'll have much space to open up your luggage bags and move around. It's a large building, and when you go up the staircase, there's plenty of space and it's decorated with artworks and bonsai plants. We were extremely hungry one night and the room-service pizza we ordered from the restaurant was delivered very quickly; it was delicious and the portion size made the price reasonable. There's a buffet breakfast on weekends, and the food was good—it even had honeycombs you could scrape the honey from. Overall, excellent and friendly staff from the doormen, reception staff and housekeepers. The large lounge area in the lobby with powerpoints and a fireplace for guests to work was a nice touch and helpful for us after check-out. Btw: if you prefer a hot water kettle instead of the coffee machine in the room, just ask the reception staff for it. We preferred the former to boil water, and the staff had one brought up easily.Guest review byXin-CiSingapore
- From US$890.86 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 9.6Exceptional - What previous guests thought, 709 reviewsEverything. The staff from the get go was amazing, super friendly and helpful! The room itself was superb, spacious, modern and clean. The Captain’s lounge was really nice. The location was very nice, we enjoyed staying on the harbour with awesome views and away from the city centre itself. We walked almost everywhere we wanted to. The breakfast was also the best I ever had at any hotel. When we checked out we took an uber to the airport. In between all the packing and loading the car with a busy toddler we forgot my carry-on bag at the front door. We only figured this out when we were at the airport and they contacted me. They phoned me and I asked if anyone can bring the bag. Jack and the team at Boston Yacht Haven was beyond amazing and the extra mile the went with bringing the bag was exceptional. I would definitely go back. And would highly recommend this placeGuest review byMinioneSouth Africa
- Scored out of 10, guest rating 8.9Fabulous - What previous guests thought, 1,014 reviewsI was very impressed with the room size. We were four persons in the family and the two Queen beds were perfect for our comfort considering we stayed for 8 nights. The two armchairs and desk with chair were awesome. The coffee (which was good) and tea in the morning at the Lobby was very convenient. The people at the Front Door are very helpful and friendly. When you call for anything, you receive your request right away! Furthermore, the room had windows on two sides. The one beside my bed I could look out to and watch the sky and the people on the street.Guest review byLeonoraPhilippines

Elegant city that abounds with cultural institutions, parks, and amazing architecture. It can be expensive, but there are ways of enjoying the city without spending lots of money - free arboretum, parks to take picnics, walking, and buses make transportation easy. Fun to walk around at night and see so many people out enjoying themselves, especially the students - they keep it fun!Guest review byMara HumphreysUnited States - 10.0
Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent bed.
Very clean and comfortable room. Excellent bed. Staff is very friendly, very helpful and responsive to questions. The shower was clean but it was difficult to operate the shower handle, and regulate the water control. It was a long wait to get the hot water and then lower the heat. Thank u for the microwave and mini fridge. We used both. Overall rating: very good. Thanks.Guest review byShannonUnited States - 8.0

My trip was of a personal nature.
My trip was of a personal nature. My Aunt was diagnosed with terminal cancer. My cousins and I spent time with her. I had a special one on one special day with her and went to all the places I grew up when I was a little boy. My Mom always wanted to "go back home." She only got to do that once. We moved to California when my stepfather's Apollo tracking ship (retrofitted at Quincy ship yard), was relocating to the west coast. My Mom died last year at 90 years old and my aunt is currently 88. I enjoyed the food immensely (hot Italian sausage and meatball sandwiches). My cousin also bought about 30 plus lobsters on the dock for only $7 each.Guest review byKhemaraUnited States - 8.0

10 minute walking distance to Brigham and Women's Hospital from this Inn. Lots of places to eat nearby. Getting to the Green Line is easy. The Museum of Art is one stop away. Since I've been coming here for years, I've seen a lot of the area. There is something for everyone. Be sure to go to the top of the Prudential Building. Food, drinks, view and staff are great. Duck tours, walking tours, historic sites,- all accessible.Guest review byJohnUnited States - 10.0
Great view of ocean, but not a lot to do at this location.
Great view of ocean, but not a lot to do at this location. We played on the beach and built sandcastles. Few good restaurants (including Kellys roast beef ), train behind hotel makes it easy to travel into boston for activities, but not much immediately around hotel.Guest review byKristenUnited States - 8.0
My stay in Somerville wasn't bad.
My stay in Somerville wasn't bad. The area I was staying, was right across from the Assembly Square Shopping area, which have a wide variety of stores to shop, restaurants to choose from, hotels, the orange line train stop is right there so you can get anywhere you want to go. It also has a nice scenic bike path along the water for you to enjoy. It's nice to walk or ride a bike around it. The casino is close you can even get to it from the bike path it takes you right to it. If you like going for walks or bike rides and nature this would be on my favs list. Then over by Assembly Shopping are, it's fairly new, there is a little bit of everything. Activities, sports, shopping, food, they have bowling and so many other fun things to keep you busy. It has everything you need for a good time.Guest review byTuftsUnited States - 8.0

The hotel and the staff were nice and friendly but the hallways and the elevators were a bit dirty. The breakfast buffet lack things depending on the hour. It was not great. They do not clean your room just take away the trash and you have to ask for clean towels. It was not what I expected. A bit disappointed.Guest review bylumminex1United States - 2.0

Broken alarm clock, broken room phone and door latch is broken too. The door doesn’t close behind you, when leaving. You need to reset latch from inside of room. Just before leaving it. I’d told front desk about it. She claimed that was normal thing. Then why NOT place a sticker on doors stating that. It was annoying every time, I’d stepped out. Then more problems was noted of noise from downstairs lobby of EMT’s taking a guest away at 12:30 AM. So slept poorly, then work up late for my day. Because of a broken alarm clock in room. When called on my cellular the next day and asked for late check out to get myself ready to head out. She declared they’re be a charge for that extra request. I’d left in a hurry and was very upset how we were treated as valued customers. I’ll never return there again. DFGuest review byDennisUnited States
