- From US$199.35 per nightScored out of 10, guest rating 8.3Very good - What previous guests thought, 985 reviewsEverything was perfect. We had a 9 nights room booked. The view was stunning, seeing the mountains, sunrise, Diamond Head Crater and the ocean from the balcony. We had the room at the 26th floor and it was the best room had. Our stay was made much nicer by Christieann who is the most adorable receptionist we ever met. She was happy all the time, smiling, explaining everything to us when we needed additional info. At the 3rd floor there is laundry and the washing is 3.50 usd and drying 3.75 usd, you need to use quarters but you can change it at the reception. They have tap water in the room. Also they have pool on the roof, bbq area and sauna. We had a late flight and we could leave only baggages at the reception and take them later. Also when we got back to take our baggages, you can go and do a shower if you need. The beach towels and chairs are included in the resort fee. On the ground floor you can find water with lemon during the day. They also have parking, but we didn’t need it. In the room you have coffee and it is replanished when the cleaning is made. Definitely recommend it!Guest review byVeronicaRomania

- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.8Good - What previous guests thought, 32 reviewsThe room was enormous, with 270 degree views over the water round to diamond head. We could easily walk to restaurants, shops, the beach, and tour pick-up spots. Kitchen had everything we needed, bed was very comfortable, and we spent many pleasant evenings on the balcony watching the sun set over the water. Extra special find was the coffee shop on the ground floor, their flat whites were superb!Guest review byRogerAustralia

As an elder who grew up in Honolulu and returning after a decade abroad, I noticed that the culture has been watered down even more than I remember before leaving. Covid was probably the death knell of a previous vibrant economy. So sad. I see homeless who are obvious throwaways from other US states with their weird, crazed body motions (auwe!), a government that bends too much to negative forces but not enough to protect the survival of the local population. I left with a heavy heart, a little traumatized, but with deep love of my birth land and resolve to come back after I find a way to stay.Guest review byRenouv - 8.0

We were visiting my son and daughter-in-law, who live on Wheeler Airforce base. Kapolei is 20-25 minutes from Waihiwa so they could easily come to us for dinner (hotel is next to a mall with lots of restaurant options); we were also close to Honolulu (30 minutes) and the Bishop museum; pearl harbor; Honolulu art museum; and the West beaches like Electric beach. North shore about 35-40 minutes. Kapolei is a central location away from the tourist craziness of Waikiki.Guest review byElsaUnited States - 4.0

The property itself is very run down and old needing a lot of love. The construction that was going on was not an issue. The beds were extremely uncomfortable. The ac they speak of is a window unit which no where near reaches past the living room/kitchen and bed. The kitchen was not complete with decent cooking pans. I certainly would not stay here again. The only nice thing about this condo was the beach access.Guest review byCharissa - 10.0

Great location, close to Halaewa (shopping, restaurants), beaches (3 Tables swimming, Shart Cove snorkeling), not too far from Leia (Polynesian Cultural Center, restaurants), Kahuku (amazing food trucks!!).Guest review byRobert - 10.0

The north shore has many beach choices. Def less crowded and great for families. Numerous food trucks and outdoor adventures available. Best time was had at the Waimea Falls area, as well as the Polynesian Cultural Center.Guest review byDianaUnited States - 8.0

Location was exactly what we were looking for away from the chaos of Honolulu. Paradise Bay Resort is a great place to stay, Whiskey Smoke 808 Bar-b-Q is a good value, and Haleiwa Joe's Haiku Gardens is good but pricey. Enough stores and other options to have snacks for the room. Enough beach choices and other activities within a short drive.Guest review byAnonymous - 10.0
I love the North Shore. I love it in the summertime.
I love the North Shore. I love it in the summertime. I have visited in the winter months; however, I prefer the ocean calmer and warmer, so summer is perfect. Winter is also rainy season- I feel like many people don't realize this or research this. The ocean on the North Shore may have big waves in the winter months, too. That is pretty awesome to watch. Some of my favorite beaches are Three Tables, Waimea Bay, and Sunset Beach. I love to snorkel at Three Tables. Some favorite places to eat are Cholos in Haleiwa for Mexican food. I love Banzai Bowls for Acai bowls, the Sunset location is my favorite. Across from Dole plantation-- (still owned by Dole) they were selling $3 pineapples, which was pretty sweet!!! We love all of the food trucks! Ted's bakery is great. We love getting coffee and breakfast sandwiches from there. It's awesome if you're staying along the bike path and you can walk or ride a bike there. Having a car is key; there is so much to see and explore all over Oahu.Guest review byChristine - 10.0
Beautiful beach, that was the best part.
Beautiful beach, that was the best part. The prices in Hawaii are ridiculous. Very high. The are grocery stores that you can buy your own food and cook if you have a kitchen. Nice people. My fav was the taco truck that had such good fresh healthy food. I would eat there everyday. He was on Kihapai st and oneawa st , late in the evening. Best recommendation. Its mostly safe, some homeless here and there not much in the residential areas. Few bars from high end, to crossroads to Kailua tavern that has the best karaoke bartender you have ever heard. He sings and makes your drinks. Food is ok, if you are a foodies it's hit and miss.. in the restaurants.. Super fun, you can get amazing surfing cheap lessons with Mike and Andy at 808 Surt School by Kamehameha Hwy opposite of the shrimp shack. Lot of great experiences, so much beautiful sun. Beautiful place. We'll be back.Guest review byizabelaCanada - 6.0

This can be a good place to stay you may have to over look some of the issues this location has. THIS IS NOT A JW MARRIOTT don't expect it. Even pricey hotels aren't perfect. The beach is close and turtles do land on it in the evenings. The water is very shallow all the way out to the reef - probably good for beginners. This location is close to the Polynesian Cultural Center and is about the middle of all North Shore points of interest. We did not stay in the room much because we were away seeing the rest of the island during the day.Guest review byPaulUnited States - 10.0

We always have a time in Oahu/Honolulu. This was our 3rd trip there. The food, beaches, locals, shopping, amazing stunning views, activities, ease of getting around, safety, so many great things to lists was amazing! We’ve met so many wonderful people there🌺 the Aloha love is felt from the minute we landed❤️🌺🤙🏽 yogur story restaurant, Cajun king restaurant, the food trucks in north shore, ala Moana mall, Pearl city mall, great!
