One of the few B&Bs that actually offered a breakfast. Kelly did a great job welcoming us and making sure we were looked after. Thank you Kelly.

Our host Houston was super friendly, kind and knowledgeable about the local area. A very special place to stay - close to the beach, very remote, sleep with the sound of nature and a lovely hot tub to boot.

The house is very nice and comfortable, we really loved the modern furniture. Something you will notice right away is also that it's very clean. The host James is kind and helpful, he pays attention to details and cares a lot about his guests. You will be finding everything you need: comfortable beds (better to bring earplugs with you), fully equipped kitchen, washing machine and dryer, free parking, fresh fruit and breakfast. We highly recommend this place, it's also in a convenient position to visit the island.

The house is just like the photos. It actually has 2 bedrooms not just one as listed. At night when the temperature drops, inside the house remains nice and cozy. Also, when you shut the windows, the sound of the coqui frogs lessen a lot! There are neighbors so we felt safe, and not isolated. The house was clean, cozy, well stocked and very well lit at night. Really happy with the motion lighting at night!!

This place is so magical it’s like being in a fairies garden! The place is private and tucked away, at night time it is illuminated by hundreds of fairy lights and you can see the Milky Way above and listen to the thousands of little frogs and geckos- it was like being in another world. We will definitely be coming back!

Sharon and Stephen are really good hosts. They are so kind and welcomeing! The apartment in a real Paradise! The garden is absolutely a Zen-Garden! The room is huge, The living room with the kitchen is fabtastic and we enjoed so much the outside shower, which makes you feel even more in nature, but gives privaci.
Probably the most tranquil spot on the island. If you are in search of some real "R and R" look nowhere else. Kind and welcoming, Irene, the owner, is the perfect host. The property is surrounded by a luscious garden. Pahoa is just a short drive away, has some good eating options, and an enormous Longs pharmacy/retail store.

Location is a beautiful escape, I could stare at the ocean all day. The house is very nice, extremely clean. I really liked my room. I like the clothing optional idea. It’s a drive to grocery store, gas, restaurants, I really enjoyed the Thai restaurant in town, but again a drive away.

Keaau is an authentic neighborhood on Hawai'i Island vs. a manicured resort. You will get a feel for what it is like to live in Hawai'i, amid the beautiful nature. It is not super close to swimmable beaches, however there is a waterfront park in the neighborhood where you can see the surf pounding against the lava rocks. There is also a local farmer's market nearby. Hilo town is about 11 miles away and has good shopping and some restaurants. The volcano is about a half hour drive away and definitely worth visiting.

If you are looking for a fancy hotel room, this might not be your place. If you are looking for a Acofortabe place to stay and get a night's sleep so you can go explore what Hawaii has to offer then this is a good option to put a little more money in the exploring budget.

It's a shared accommodation with the host staying at the garage and other bedrooms occupied by other guests. Lots of variations of coffee available for breakfast. Apples, bananas are available as well. No dishwasher available. So you need to wash the dishes yourself. Kitchen is adequate with all the necessities. Location is good. Hilo is 20 miles away. Volcano is 30 miles away. Open parking outside the house. Bathroom and bedroom was neat and clean.

The Bungalow at Honolulu Landing is very clean and comfortable. It is a one bedroom bungalow, it is great for me as my husband is a early riser and I can sleep longer with the door closed.
The patio is right next to the living room, it overlooks the lush tropical garden. The kitchen is equipped with cooking utensils, I cook most of my meals there. During the Omicron virus surge, I tend not to eat out in an indoor environment. There is a nice local supermarket at Pahoa, it has all kinds of fresh food, vegetables, sushi, poke, hot deli.
It is about 40 minutes drive to the Volcano National Park, a park that is worth spending time there.
I enjoy my stay at Honolulu Landing, I feel relaxed. It is what a vacation is for.

just far from the beaches and all locations are anyway via Hilo, so it doesn't help you live up on the hills. Hope they build more community/perimeter roads to bypass city traffic. No retail stores, laundromats are far away

Check what else is available against price.
Check what else is available against price. This is basic camping and certainly not in a fruit rain forest. We were ok with it after we adjusted our concept of what it was. Camping in a room that is basically a tent with running water and a toilet. If that is ok then this will suit.

The location gave us easy access to both Hilo and Volcano National Park. We landed at Kona airport and had to drive across the island to get to the Hilo side. I wouldn’t recommend that drive at night. This area is less commercial and more laidback than Kona.
