I am actually local to Glendale and commute in and out of the city often. My grand mother also used to live in the city for all of my life and I've always loved it. Glendale definitely has a sweet spot in my heart. It is a beautiful city with a lot of live action, incredible food spots, shopping, diverse culture, ect. Avoid this place at all costs. Lower then sayisfactory condition. Dirty sheets, employees that lie, they are trying to steal my deposit, it would be hard to give this place a reason to even keep a deposit. Tv didn’t even work for over half the stay. No fire alarm, only wires hanging from the ceiling, bed was a mattress laced on wood, not a box spring and mattress lol just a mattress on wood. They don’t care about your comfort and there was mold, rust and terrible old condition. Like a ‘80’s hotel out in the desert. If you complain they will just lie, not care and make an excuse, while trying to get more money out of you. We went to the Pomona Swat Meet. We usually go 3 times a year. Getting arou d was pretty easy. Convenient. We did go to Steven's Steak house for dinner. That was a 10!!!! Great prime rib and steaks. Room was clean and comfortable. Had tea/coffee making facilities in the room, ice bucket, fridge and a microwave. Ice was available from the car park entrance. Great location, there were restaurants close by and just a few yards from a dollar tree store. Staff were polite and very helpful. We unfortunately had a problem, but it was dealt with quickly. Uptown Whittier has improved significantly with more dining options. Some places have live music. One of my favorite restaurants is California Grill on Philadelphia St. Huge menu, and (heated) patio seating with live music.
