We stayed on our way home from visiting family. It was so relaxing and the owners are so sweet and helpful. They make you feel at home. The view by the creek was an added bonus. SDC, the Boardwalk, downtown- what could you not like? They have just about anything for everyone. The only rough part is the traffic, but it is just because of how popular the trip is in general. It does get a bit pricey, but I liked Silver Dollar City, and Grand Country is a nice place to stay for children and adults. We had the time of our life.
We had the time of our life. We woke up and was getting ready for our day and walked right outside of our hotel and was able to enjoy a Christmas parade. My daughter loved it tossing of candy for her...and for me it brought back childhood memories of our Christmas parades back home and how people had respect for others. During our stay we ate at MA's restaurant the staff was wonderful and food was amazing. It was just like eating at grandmas house. Home cooked food. See when I was younger my family owned its own restaurant and all the food was made from the heart noting frozen like most restaurants serve today.
