Honestly, this has been one of our nicest stays in Vietnam. The host has been so friendly and helpful. We relied on Google translate a lot, but it all worked. Our room was so clean, it sparkled. The beds were firm but comfortable. The shower room fresh and clean. Breakfasts were good, and varied over the days we stayed. The homestay was very convenient for Nam Cat Tien park entrance and there were many options for other food close by. We even loved the noisy gecko calls at night! Oir host helped me book a bus back to HCMC and kept our bags while we had a last birdwatching visit to the park before our bus. We arrived expecting rustic accommodation but this far exceeded all expectations.

Really nice rooms very close to the park entrance. The family who run it are all incredibly kind and thoughtful. My friends and I really enjoyed our stay in a family bungalow, comfy beds with lots of space.

We wanted to spend two nights near Cat Tien National Park and had no idea we were heading straight to paradise. Nam and his family only recently opened the Nam Garden Lodge, having welcomed guests since August. They are incredibly warm-hearted, and the garden together with the treehouse-style lodges are self-designed and furnished with great attention to detail. On top of that, every wish of ours was literally read from our lips. Our highlight was being invited to dinner with Nam and his whole family - what a great honor! In short, we had a wonderful stay. The national park, perfect for day trips, is only 450 meters from the accommodation and offers plenty to see. We would come back anytime – and we’ve already promised ourselves that we will. We can only recommend everyone to stay at the Nam Garden Lodge if you ever plan to come to this area. Thank you, Nam and family, for your hospitality!

I had the absolute pleasure of staying at Du Yen Garden of Blessings in Cat Tien, Vietnam, and I couldn’t recommend it more to fellow expats seeking peace, tranquility, and a beautiful place to work or unwind. The garden here is simply breathtaking, with organically grown fruit, a serene pond full of fish, and a sheltered meditation area that is perfect for relaxation. The attention to detail is evident, from the lush surroundings to the thoughtful water filtration system, which means you can drink straight from the tap – a lovely touch. The local food is amazing, and I highly recommend trying the Pho from Phở Hà Nộ – it’s a must-have! The people here are incredibly friendly, and you’ll find yourself greeted with smiles and “hi’s” from locals as you stroll around. One of the best things about this location is that it’s just a 15-minute walk from Cat Tien National Park, where you can explore the area by bike, take a leisurely walk, or enjoy a guided car tour through nature. Du Yen Garden of Blessings is a true gem that has only been open for two months, and I wouldn’t be surprised if it gets booked up quickly once more people discover this hidden paradise. If you’re an expat or just looking for a peaceful getaway, this is the perfect spot!

Absolutely beautiful family run hotel with large clean rooms and air conditioning, it is located right next to the national park with stunning views and lots of affordable tours to do. I can’t express how amazing the family is, so kind and thoughtful, helped us with everything we could have possibly needed and kept us well stocked with home grown fruit. They have a restaurant on site with amazing food and very generous portions and very affordable prices. We 1,000,000% recommend you staying here when visiting Nam Cat Tien. We can’t wait to come back and see the family again!!

The owner, doubling as our guide, navigated the river expertly, sharing insightful local knowledge that enriched our experience. As the boat glided through the water, we were treated to a spectacular display of wildlife, including numerous birds and playful monkeys, all under the backdrop of a breathtaking sunset. It was a perfect way to connect with nature. Accommodations at Cát Tiên Riverside felt like a nature embrace, with rooms perfectly positioned to wake up to views of the river. The soothing sounds of water and wildlife were a refreshing way to start the day, immersed in tranquility. Dining here was another pleasure, highlighted by a delicious fish hot pot that captured the essence of local cuisine. The ingredients were fresh, with flavors that spoke of the surrounding environment. The family's hospitality was heartwarming, making us feel like part of their community. Overall, Cát Tiên Riverside offers more than just a place to stay; it is a gateway to experiencing the natural beauty and cultural richness of the area. Our 3-night stay at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge was just delightful! The Lodge is built in wood and stone with a spacious garden, ponds and the river that flows just by the bungalows. The rooms are tastefully appointed with comfortable canopy beds with mosquito nets. Our bungalow looked over the river, across from the jungle and its concert of sounds, with a special mention for the mesmerizing call of the gibbons. The restaurant is reminiscent of a romantic tree house and serves great food made from locally-sourced products. The staff are very friendly and the owner, Ms Phuong, was most helpful in recommending hikes in the jungle and boat rides. The lodge also offers sound therapy sessions in a dedicated meditation room. Cat Tien Jungle Lodge is clearly on the top end of accommodation available in the area with a dedication to ecotourism and an unbeatable location on the very edge of the National Park. Our stay was a lovely break from the hustle and bustle of Ho Chi Minh City and we will definitely be back at Cat Tien Jungle Lodge for more jungle adventures!
