everything! the location is great, just a walking distance to city center but you still can enjoy the stunning view from your room. the staff speaks English quite well. the service is top notch. the rooftop pool is amazing (very cold but its a cool spot). the breakfast buffet is great they have a lot of options.

We liked everything from the booking until the last goodbye! The staff was responding to each question in a timely manner. We were welcomed with huge smiles and delicious tea. We organized the trip to visit the ethnic minorities with them and it was really worth it! Five hours through the rice fields, jungle and a local English speaking guide. Room was super clean, we made the laundry there and enjoyed a delicious breakfast. Last nice touch a sandwich and water provided for our trip. Thanks so much , you made our days special with your care!

I cannot fault this hotel. It is stunning fit out of what looks like an historic building. Superbly clean. The bed was so so so comfortable - the best sleep I’ve had in SEA; and the staff were incredible. Without being overbearing they went to every length to ensure our stay with Eden, and Sapa, was unforgettable. I had a rip in my skirt, and they insisted I give it to them, and they mended it with love, for free. The breakfast was tasty and substantial.

    The hotel is brilliant - Nice a quaint yet has all the facilities and luxuries. The staff were amazing and managed to arrange a private cooking class with Sous Chef Mung. Was an amazing experience and Mung showed me the market and how to cook 4 traditional dishes (he then served it to me in the restaurant. Highlight of my trip and great to see such an experienced chef go about his business. Would 100% recommend and will come back again.

    We stayed here for 2 nights. Enjoyable experience. Nice room with a good view balcony. The balcony door is soundproof so no problem with noise. The staffs are so kind, friendly and helpful. Easy to walk around the hotel area since its the heart of Sapa. We both women walk at night safely. Will come back here if we go to SaPa again.

    We were truly impressed by the breakfast at the hotel every dish was fresh, beautifully presented, and full of flavor. Enjoying a delicious meal while watching the majestic Fansipan mountain range and clouds drifting gently over the valley was an unforgettable experience. The hotel can get quite busy in the morning, so it’s best to arrive a bit early to get one of the best seats where you can sip your coffee and soak in the breathtaking mountain view. The staff were exceptionally friendly and attentive, always greeting us with warm smiles and genuine care. A perfect way to start a new day in Sapa Hoteldesapa

    Lao Cai is a frontier town and as such, has a quite quirky feel to it. There is not a whole lot to do per se, apart from visiting a couple of pagodas. I do like the vibe there and there is some really good Vietnamese food available.

    Very difficult to find your way there, all homestay/hotel owners refuse to provide information and collaborate only with specific companies. English guides limited but a guide named Thao made our stay a nightmare. She was trying to push lunch and other side services, once she realized we didn’t want that, she stopped any guiding and intentionally destroyed half of one day and the whole second day by acting simply as a side person on the trip, not providing absolutely anything. Totally unprofessional and even verbally rude and sarcastic. Avoid at all costs!

    Getting around sapa is easy with grab. There are a lot of must try eats in sapa like black chicken, sturgeon and salmon. There are also fun attractions like alpine coaster, moana sapa and glass bottom bridge.

    Mountainous area famous for plum.

    Mountainous area famous for plum. It's called the white valley because during the spring the whole area is covered by plum flowers. So it's best to visit in early January. Otherwise, summer is a good time for plum picking. I had an enjoyable experience picking plum myself and brought lots of them home. I was lucky to visit during the weekends when they had annual horse racing competition. Really memorable. They also have weekly Hmong flea market on Sunday, you can eat local food and see ethnic people trading. Riding motorbike and looking at the mountain was fairly enough for me. You definitely should eat at Sa Mu restaurant. The food was so good that we went there twice.

    Awesome village, if you want busy and active then stay over the weekend. For a little more quieter time, then from late Monday to Friday morning is good. There is amazing trekking, site seeing and rides around the area and superb place to visit for a connection to rural Vietnam when you only have a few days.

    I only stayed Saturday night for the Sunday market but wish I’d stayed Friday night too to see the buffalo market on Saturday morning. Get up early (~6am) and go to the market while it’s bustling with locals rather than waiting until the tourist buses arrive (from ~9am). Quan Binh Phuong does good chicken pho for 30,000 VND
