The host Nga was extremely helpful from helping us to set our itinerary. It really felt like being at home as Nga and her family is so welcoming! And they are very flexible, we could use the shower and pool after finishing our hike despite we had already checked out. They can also drive you around Ninh Binh!

I would travel to Vietnam again just to stay in this hotel. Everything was beyond perfect. The location is in the heart of Tam coc but retired enough to be calm, especially in the night. The hotel is new and clean , the rooms are big, the view from the room was awesome and the bed was comfy . The personal was "the cerise sur le gateau", they were polite, helpfull always smiling. I needed to go super early for my next destination they made me breakfast and gave me fruits and water for the road. The pool is nice to cool down after a day in the warm weather . They also lend free bicycles. If one wanted to go explore the area, I went to Mua cave and back with the bike. I would recommend this hotel with my eyes closed.

We had an amazing stay at this newly opened hotel! The owners went above and beyond to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. They even picked us up and dropped us off at the bus station at an incredibly early hour, which we were so grateful for. The location of the hotel is perfect — just a few minutes’ walk from the busy, noisy street but far enough to ensure the hotel remains peaceful and quiet. Thank you for everything! Highly recommend this place for anyone looking for a welcoming, cozy stay.

Very good home stay, Thai met us on arrival and helped us with checking in, arranging breakfast and transport for local attractions and also transport to return to Hanoi. this is an excellent location near to all local attractions . We also borrowed bikes and cycled around local area.

The staff - David and all the team -was extremely helpful. We felt welcomed. The place is simply beautiful. We used the bicycles, enjoyed a swim at midnight, slept well. Got help to book excursions and bus tickets. We ate at breakfast omelett and fruit juice prepared fresh. We enjoyed our too short stay in Tam Coc and are very grateful for each minute of it! Thank you for making our stay so pleasant and helping us making wonderful memories.

Anna and Tom are so nice and kind they helped us plan our stay in tam coc, they made us delicious breakfast every day. They gave us fruit and tea upon check in and let us check in a little early which was appreciated greatly after a 14 hour bus. Even gave us some water and snacks for the bus when we left they are so kind, the room was lovely and comfortable. Cannot recommend more haven't felt that at home yet in our 5 weeks in Asia so far.

    Lovely resort pity we only stayed 1 night here. I would recommend at least 2 nights in this beautiful place. The rooms were clean and nicely decorated, extremely quite and private. Breakfast was extremely impressive. The resort amenities included also decent sized gym, a spa, and outdoor swimming pools. The service was friendly and lovely really trying to make us comfortable.

    Superb location: we had a bungalow facing the water / lake with rowing boats passing by and the hill in the background ! Million dolar view! Helpfull staff. They even cooked individually a soup when I had stomach problems. Nice swimming pool. Worth staying a few days. Silent- no car traffic at all.

    As far as I can make out, this town is a suburb/area of Ninh Binh, less than a mile from the train station. It is probably the friendliest place I've ever been - I think I was "helloed" by just about everyone under 10 I saw. But the highlights are really in the surrounding countryside, so I would recommend planning for a few days out to see the nature reserves and participate in the activities. You don't need to travel far, and can get Grab taxis or bikes if you don't have your own transport.

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a...

    We spent two days in Ninh Binh and could have easily spent a day or two longer. It's a very laid back area and there is lots to see. We stayed between Trang An and Tam Coc and used bicycles to get around. The quieter location suited us but for younger travellers Tam Coc is more vibrant. The walk to the top of Hang Mua viewpoint is best done in the early morning (we went before breakfast) so it isn't too crowded and not too hot. There were mountain goats roaming around when we walked up (around 7.00am) but they'd gone by the time we descended and more people were arriving. We didn't take the boat ride in Tam Coc but we took a boat ride in Trang An. The scenery seems more mountainous around Trang An than Tam Coc. On the day we went the water was high so we couldn't go into the caves and there was only one route open, which seemed to be a mix of the other routes. The boat trip lasted around 2.5 hours and was excellent. We also visited the old town at night, which was nice. It's all lit up and there are some good places to eat on the waterfront. Bich Dong temple is also worth visiting. There is a staircase leading up to a smaller shrine and to the left of that there is a passage through a bat cave and up to another small shrine outdoors.

    I had a wonderful experience at Lighthouse Hotel in Ninh Binh. The hotel is located in a convenient location, near markets and attractions, making transportation easy. Rooms are clean, comfortable and fully equipped with amenities. In particular, the receptionist is very friendly and enthusiastic, always ready to assist customers. The hotel also provides a private cooking area and dining table for guests, creating a feeling of home. The yard is spacious and airy, providing a relaxing space after days of exploration. I will definitely return to Lighthouse Hotel on my next trips to Ninh Binh.

    The view is stunning.

    The view is stunning. I was shocked of how beautiful and cleaned this city is. You can enjoy cycling around the city under the quiet, historic and cultural atmosphere. At the famous landmarks, there was no scam or shoving, hustling, jostling. The goat meat in Ninh Binh is so delicious
