It is quick to get to Dullstroom from Gauteng.
It is quick to get to Dullstroom from Gauteng. The scenery, restaurants, tourist activities and the people make the place whole. Even though there are no franchise grocery shops such as Spar and Checkers, a delivery service will come handy.Guest review byMilton KekanaSouth Africa - 6.0

The photos on the websites are definitely not a true reflection of how the place actually looks. Had I seen the surroundings and how dilapidated the buildings looked from outside, I would never have booked. I also arrived at "dead man's door". Nobody in sight for atleast 15-20 min. I actually thought I had been scammed. When someone eventually arrived, they were friendly and helpful. Once I checked into my room I was pleasantly surprised. Everything was old but neat and tidy. The bedding and towels smelt absolutely amazing. There was coffee, tea, sugar and powdered milk available but unfortunately only 1 coffee sachet was given. I had hot water in the evening and morning which was great. I was given a torch for when load shedding starts. For the price paid, it was okay for a quick overnight stay. I do just think some effort needs to be made to the outer appearance as the location already looks dodgy. I don't know if I will book there again. This will be my last resort if other places aren't available.Guest review byMonya - 10.0

We have stayed in Dullstroom many times, and it never disappoints! On this quick one-night stopover we ate supper at The Dullstroom Inn. The roaring fire in the fireplace has been alight since 1980 - so a lovely place to eat on a cold winter night. The food was delicious and reasonably priced.Guest review byLisaSouth Africa - 10.0
