Muizenberg is well connected to drive to Cape Town (20-30 minutes) and also to the Cape of Good Hope, or to travel both directions by train. We enjoyed the little cafés, restaurants and shops on the way to Fishhoek. It is was great to have a long beach in Muizenberg but at the time we went there we found lots of seaweed and there were some constructions going on that created unpleasant smells.Guest review byNadjaGermany - 8.0

Fish Hoek is quite a busy town with several supermarkets to pick up groceries; Woolworths is excellent. And the town is nicely located on the coast for easy access to both east and west coast resorts - and Cape of Good hope, too. Excellent coast path enables you to walk to other beaches - my wife and I walked to Muizenberg, a very enjoyable stretch!Guest review byJohnUnited Kingdom - 10.0
Very impressed with Kalk Bay.
Very impressed with Kalk Bay. It’s been great seeing the progress in five years in terms of the upliftment of the area. Village was clean and we took the train in to CT central which was great! Loved walking to Muizenberg beach and we did an early run to Fishhoek. Never felt unsafe. Will def be back.Guest review byAnonymous - 8.0
Beautiful location - great beach for walks and sun bathing.
Beautiful location - great beach for walks and sun bathing. There is a security issue with walking on the beach beyond a certain point ( specified at the entrance to the breach) - but if you’re aware, don’t carry valuables and stay within the ‘’safe” areas it is a beautiful beach. Lots of restaurants and small shops around.Guest review byMartinaSouth Africa - 10.0

Location to Kommetjie Beach and Fish Hoek is an easy drive. The accommodation is very basic and the furnishings outdated. We felt the room lacked privacy . The hostess was friendly and helpful. We had to park in the street outside the property.Guest review bycastignani-pretorius - 10.0

Quaint village with a lovely fresh market for stocking the kitchen, a couple of restaurants but you do not have to leave the house as it has everything! Scarborough has a laid back feel and many people walking and cycling.Guest review byMeagenSouth Africa - 10.0

We had a fantastic time staying in Simon’s Town—such a charming coastal gem! The location is perfect for exploring the Cape Peninsula, with easy access to Boulders Beach and its famous penguins, as well as breathtaking drives along the coast. The town itself has a peaceful vibe, friendly locals, and some great little cafés and restaurants. Our accommodation was lovely—clean, comfortable, and with stunning ocean views that made every morning feel special. It’s the perfect base for nature lovers and those looking to unwind by the sea. Highly recommend a stay here if you're visiting the Cape!Guest review byAyush Aggarwal 19India
