EVERYTHING!!!!!! The staff are so kind and you get a personal treatment from the second you enter the camp. The tents are amazing, clean and beautiful As of the tours, Our experience was beyond words! You can see a lot of different animals and the guides are truly kind and professional.

    What a stay! Gondwana goes straight up to the top of best places we have ever stayed in. Overall the park is amazing and greatly managed, the game drives were spectacular and the staff was unbelievably supportive and helpful throughout our stay. We stayed over for 2 nights with a small baby (1.5y old) and we were accommodated on a beautiful and huge villa (would fit 8 people), the staff was able to accommodate for us going on a couple of game drives with the baby - which she absolutely loved - and you are able to enjoy the pool / restaurant to relax in between. Couldn't have been a better experience, honestly. If you are driving from Cape Town like we did it can seems a bit of a long drive, but it is definitely worth it - one of the highlights of our trip to South Africa

    Mossel Bay itself, has maybe not the best offers of activities. However Bay Lodge offered us some relaxing days on a beautiful location on the beach. We particularly liked the rooms with sea view. The breakfast, which we ate on the terrace had gorgeous beach view, was extraordinary. There was lots of choices from the cooked breakfast menu and interesting good fresh fruit.

    We normally make use of Portao Diaz Hotel when we visit our family in Groot Brak River and George. It is need and tidy and some of the people there remember us from visiting through the years. The view over the sea from our room, is each and every time my main thing in the mornings. I love the view.

Cabin living on farms away from the city We have been visiting Mossel Bay for the last 30 years and continue to be one of our favorite holiday destinations, making it one of the most underrated stops along the Garden Route.

    Seeplaas was excellent. Will definitely go again. The room was clean and well laid out. The view and sound of the ocean is heavenly. Enjoyed breakfast every morning, also looking at the sea the whole time. Saw whales and dolphins playing right in front of seeplaas. Thank you for a wonderful time.

Being very lucky to spot all kinds of animals we had the privilage to be accompanied by an outstanding guide - „King David“. Knowledgeable, experienced, helpful and very friendly.     Love the tranquility of the area.

    Love the tranquility of the area. The beaches are pretty and clean. Dolphins appear often while walking the beaches in the morning. Scenery is amazing with the mountain view one side and the beach the other side.

    Dana Bay has the most beautiful beaches & we saw a number of whales there are also dolphins, the bushbuck roam freely in the conservency, there are beautiful sunsets & the whole family can enjoy long beach walks & fishing

    Mossel Bay itself has so much to see and do and then you have all the little treasures on the outskirts of Mossel Bay. One that we found this weekend after visiting Mossel Bay for the last 15 years is the Butterfly Sanctuary on the R328 in Ruitersbos. Visit in summer to see the butterflies as in winter their numbers are far less. A must at the sanctuary is to meet Earle Whitely a world renowned butterfly expert.
