- Scored out of 10, guest rating 7.7Good - What previous guests thought, 61 reviewsXaus is a special place, a step towards giving the San Community their dignity and land back. Our proud San guides were terrific. They are so passionate and knowledgeable about their land and its animal life. Donovan and Koos really made us feel welcome and taught us many things about the long and proud history of the Bushmen people. We will be back.Guest review byWiesnerUnited Kingdom

We wanted to see the Big Diamond Hole, but struggled to find the parking and entrance because of a lack of proper road signs. We used our GPS but missed the parking because the gps took us all around the Hole. Once inside, the tour was well organised. I didn't like the political spin on the history of the Big Hole: please just get on with the history without painting it into losers and winners. Most of the workers were paid very little in those days in the mines.Guest review bySumeSouth Africa - 10.0

After driving for 10 Hours+ you realy need a nice shower and a nice bed. Me and my wife was pleasantly surprised with the showers and bed that was provided. 7 on Grey is definitely on of our favourite stay over venues in future. Thanks 7 on Grey.Guest review byJohannesSouth Africa - 8.0

The room offers a conducive peaceful sleep after a long day. The bed provides the necessary comfort. The small fridge allows storage of your drinks. The Aircon and TV Create add value for sufficient rest. HOWEVER, the toilet should have Air Freshners. The Curtains are transparent and when the lights are ON, a person can see your image in the room.Guest review byMbhungana - 6.0

Our guys go up on a regular basis for work and are super impressed with everything. Clean rooms, comfortable beds, everything in working order. Their only complaint is that they cannot spend too much time in the garden as they are in Kuruman to work! Other than that, they really enjoy it. Perfect place for a work crew.Guest review byMariaSouth Africa - 6.0

Sadly most of the Karoo towns we passed through are reflect the poverty and neglect of the Northern Cape with deteriorating infrastructure and litter everywhere. Sad to see this beautiful part of our country being forgotten by the National Government.Guest review byKim - 10.0
We thoroughly enjoyed the Augrabies area.
We thoroughly enjoyed the Augrabies area. We visited the Augbragies waterfalls, went on the game drive, visited Riemvasmaak and did river rafting on the Orange rivier. The area is a real treat, for us the distance between the places was something to get used to. Also, when travelling there, ensure that you have a jerry can that you can fill up with diesel. When we got to Augrabies and wanted to fill up, they were out of diesel and the closest petrol station is in Kakamas, 48km's further. Thankfully, we had a jerry can. Most people from the area are friendly and helpful. Other than that, pack comfortable clothes, shoes and an adventurous spirit.Guest review byNadineSouth Africa - 8.0

Richmond offers an ideal stopover for travelers journeying from Gauteng to Cape Town, conveniently located more than halfway to the Mother City. We were pleasantly surprised by the high quality of accommodation available. Do be aware that the town tends to shut down around 5 PM, so plan accordingly for dinner and other essentials. A definite highlight was the local butchery, Richmond Meat & Deli. It proved to be a real winner, offering excellent coffee and delicious homemade pies – perfect for a tired traveler!Guest review byRickSouth Africa - 8.0
As with most towns, it can do with a clean-up of litter!
As with most towns, it can do with a clean-up of litter! Interesting visit to the Fort but again, the surrounding indigenous garden is not maintained and plastic bottle tops are used to decorate the area, such a shame!Guest review byIngridSouth Africa
