The Featherbed was great value for money for our family of four. The accommodation was modern, very comfortable, and had all the amenities for a long stay. To add to the warmth of the property, the host was marvellous with loving and genuine personal care and to our comfort. We also enjoyed the use of the pool table and the common area during our stay. The property also boasts lovely two person accommodation, well separated from family units, which is great for discerning couples or business minded individuals. Thank you for a lovely short stay. We hope to be back for a longer stay in the near future.

    A very nice and lovely place with tasty breakfasts and dinner. The territory is big and beautiful. There are enclosures with ostriches and springboks there which children may especially like. Fishing rods for fishing in their pond are also available there, so despite the location is quite remote from the town, there is still a lot to do on the territory for adults and children.     Very beautiful guesthouse in the countryside. Antelopes grazing just in front of our suite. The owner family and the employees are very friendly and helpful. Food excellent. Game drives in a perfect scenery. Not too many animals, which is very good. Much better than all those parks and reserves at the coast. A perfect stay just to wind down and relax.

    The B&B was really nice. All the people were absolutly warmhearted and helpful. You can do your laundry which was perfect for us. They gave us perfect advise for activities and restaurants in oudtshoorn. They even reserved the activities for us.😃 And the breakfast was amazing.

    Too much to see and do in 2 days - a lovely town with friendly people and plenty of good restaurant's . Participated in their parkrun at Surval Olive farm - beautiful venue and such friendly, helpful marshals and organizers Oudtshoorn is a warm gem

    The cottage is perfect for a short or long stay.

    The cottage is perfect for a short or long stay. There is a large back patio with built-in braai, protected from the water and a front stoep to soak in the beautiful views. The bathrooms are really spacious with large walk in showers. The kitchen is well equipped and the beds are very comfortable. There is no TV but fast wifi so streaming from your phone is easy.

    we have been to Oudtshoorn several times over a number of years. The attractions are mainly the same but still worth a visit - however interesting to see how much the town has grown and evolved. The drive through the Swartberg Mountains is NOT to be missed. The primary reason we took this trip.

    It is a very quaint and tranquil little town bout 30 km from Oudtshoorn in the Western Cape. There is an ample amount of restaurants and wine shops and a few souvenir shops. Spending a full day to experience the real charm of the little village. While there take a short drive into Meiringspoort and discover CJ Langenhovens carved stone with the inscription Herry, which was the name of his imaginary elephant or travel up to the waterfall, all a mere 10 or 12 kim from De Rust.
