Staff was very helpful in making the most of my short visit. I received hiking recommendations that turned out to be lovely. Breakfast was great. A great location with a great view.

The room with the jacuzzi has very nice view out the balcony, spacious and comfortable! The hotel is situated conveniently across a shop, few steps away from the starting point of the hike to the lake and also the tourist center.

The family-run Hotel Des Alpes is located next to the Muggeseeli nature reserve in the centre of Kandersteg. All rooms have been renovated in 2010 and Wi-Fi is available for free.

The dormitory was very clean and tidy. Plenty of room to hang my wet clothes. The breakfast was the best i had this trip with eggs and cereals and a range of breads. Out milk for vegan. The women in charge was very kind.

The staff made an upgrade of our room for free. We enjoyed our room so much and appreciated it. We also like the restaurant with local trout.

This was the best hotel of our 1-week stay in Switzerland. The staff there is incredibly friendly and helpful. Room was clean, excellent breakfast. Wellness was amazing. We also had dinner there, it was delicious and service was very professional. Definitely reccomend the hotel.

Breakfast is 10/10, served with your preferred hot drink. The location is super nice and Mürren is the loveliest place I’ve been in Switzerland.
