Both arrived on individual motorcycles, booked for 5 nights, ample space to park. Shown to room, by very friendly owners. Breakfast was plentiful although not until 8.30am each day, no facilities for a tea or coffee beforehand unfortunately. They had a honesty fridge for cool drinks with an outside terrace to sit and relax too.

I can say that was our luck to stay in this place. I love it. If we go again to Cochem , we definitely stay in this place again. Service, location, atmosphere in Village Vinum is excellent! I love concept of “open” bar. There are fridges with drinks and glasses. People can jut take what ever they want, write on paper what they take and pay by the end of station. By the way it’s dog friendly hotel , that’s one more reason why we preferred this wonderful place.

This traditional hotel has been run by the same family for over 200 years. It is located in the Rhineland Palatinate’s Moselle Valley.

Wonderful place! We will definitely come back more than once. A large, beautifully and practically furnished room. Great view from the balcony to the ruins of the Metternich Castle. 3 minutes walk to the banks of the Moselle. Absolutely exceptional breakfast. 2 saunas, a sun room and a huge roof terrace. Helpful and hospitable staff - they know the answers to all your questions :). Convenient parking.

Staff was very friendly and spoke very good English. Breakfast was great with eggs made by request. Restaurant had great collection of wines. And the area seemed to us one of the best ones in whole Mosel.
