My family and I decided to take a spontaneous vacation for the weekend and we couldn't have been more pleased with the decision to book a room at the Maritime Hotel in Bad Wildungen. So much; the view, the quiet, the rooms, the atmosphere, etc. We felt like we were at the edge of the world but not lonely. The people you encounter here are few and far between but very friendly and accomodating.

The view from both bedroom and restaurant terrace were spectacular in themselves. Such a delight to see at the ends of the day. Restaurant staff were extremely helpful and obliging. The receptionist exceeded our expectations by volunteering advice on going to see the Eder Dam in the dark. We were very happy indeed!
