Well situated and elegant, awesome breakfast. Big spacy room, finally enough pillows! The parking was really nice, with a car lift down and through the corridors straight to the hotel.

A centrally located hotel with discounted parking in a nearby garage 2 minutes walk from the hotel. The hotel was family run, on arrival we were given a free room upgrade to a room on the top floor which had a large rooftop terrace off the room. The whole hotel was decorated to a really high standard and a beautiful and unique style. The room we stayed in was large, the bed was extremely comfortable. Breakfast was excellent with a large selection of hot and cold options, serve in a stylish dining room. The staff were friendly and more than willing to help with any queries made of them. we had a really enjoyable stay.

The hotel is as splendid as we remembered from ten years ago. The view from the balcony is wonderful. Our room was large and very comfortable- I asked for twin beds and got these. It was difficult to climb 2 1/2 flights of stairs every time we went up to our room but the staff took our suitcases up and down for us which was very helpful .

We love this hotel. We stayed here 15 years ago, and while some of the decor has changed a bit, the key essence of being a throwback to olden days has not changed and it makes this hotel interesting and a very enjoyable setting. Sitting out on the restaurant patio area you have a lovely view of Wurzburg and key landmarks. The service from all the staff, and especially the restaurant staff was first class. Despite being fully booked, the staff were able to find us a table for dinner, and nothing was too much trouble. The rooms are comfortable, and the updated bathrooms are excellent.
