Absolutely divine! This hotel is beyond words. Located on a private island, it created a perfect winter wonderland (we stayed in February) with a calm, pristine, and unique landscape by the frozen river. The staff were incredible—even before our arrival, they helped us book activities, making the experience completely hassle-free. The food was a true culinary experience—the bespoke three-course menu was absolutely marvelous, and breakfast offered a vast selection, including homemade vegan options. We probably ate the best bread of our lives here! Our stay was simply perfect. Plus, the hotel is being renovated to become an adults-only retreat, and we can’t wait to visit again in summer!

We booked with arctic tree hotel to celebrate our 40th wedding anniversary and to see the Northern Lights. Staff, every single one, went beyond and above to make us comfortable. They are a joyful and organized staff. The hotel itself is unique, spotless, and very well situated for viewing Northern Lights and visiting Santa’s village and the town of Rovaniemi. The restaurant is exquisite! The breakfast buffet boasts Lapland favourites and the dinner menu is exquisite!!! If we didn’t live so far away in Canada, we would visit again and again!!!!

Just 4.5 km from the centre of Rovaniemi, these comfortable apartments feature a private sauna and terrace. Santa Claus Village is 9 minutes’ drive away.

We stayed only one night but it was great. The place was as described, clean and comfortable. The sauna was a great touch. We were able to spot the auroras from the backyard, a great plus!

The facilities are excellent, and the indoor sauna is very relaxing. Parking is convenient, and the breakfast was delicious. The front desk staff were very friendly and had warm smiles. It really put a smile on my face and made me feel very happy. I would love to stay here again.

Very cozy chalets perfect for familiar with kids. Super warm inside we also had sauna in our chalet, great location, close to the main attractions like Santa Village and Santa Park, airport, supermarkets and the city of Rovaniemi. There were also ski slopes close to the chalets and plenty of places to go sledging with the kids which they loved the most. Very great surroundings also for walks. They also had an amazing breakfast in a cozy Christmas atmosphere. We had an early flight and they were super sweet to offer us a breakfast box for the road.

Breakfast was excellent, such a wide variety of choice and staff were all very attentive and accommodating to any requests.

The Arctic City Hotel was a fabulous place to stay in the centre of town, close to shops and restaurants. The staff were exceptional, extremely welcoming and were service orientated! We would stay here again without hesitation and would highly recommend other travellers to stay here also!
