The hotel was very close to both the university and the city centre, which made it perfect! It has a Lidl and a Tesco express nearby, which is very convenient. Very clean. The staff were very friendly, helpful and super polite, and the areas to have a coffee, dinner or simply work, amazing. They have plugs at almost every table, so you can really work from there if you need it. Great internet connection.

I really liked the breakfast 👍 And I could get anywhere I wanted in a short time by walking, which was amazing. The staff was reaaally friendly and they were really helpful. The personal was really nice and friendly. The rooms were big and beautiful and clean. There is a bus station nearby so you can get around. The food is amazing. The view from the hotel is so good. We had an amazing time staying there and if we ever come back I will definetly stay here again.

The Shaftesbury was a quaint little hotel in a charming residential neighbourhood with ample street parking. It is just a short drive to the city centre. The rooms are clean with super comfortable beds. The staff are all fantastic and courteous The breakfast was excellent with cooked eggs, meats, fruit, yoghurt and juices. Had an excellent stay.
