Loved this hotel. Boutique in the true sense of the word. High quality fittings and furnishings. Does not feel like a hotel but like an interior designed HOME. Just unfortunately not mine.

Great location - easy access to Cheltenham town centre by bus or car. The bedrooms were clean, spacious and beautifully decorated, with a very smart en-suite. A bar fridge, hairdryer and plenty of white fluffy towels were appreciated and the bed was really comfortable. Despite being located on a busy road, the windows are double glazed, so there is no disturbance from traffic. Creative arrangement for people to order take-out food and consume it in the communal sitting/ dining area.

The hotel and spa staff were both very welcoming and made you feel at home straight away. The hotel was exceptionally clean and the facilities were excellent. As it was our honeymoon, the hotel upgraded our room and provided us with complimentary chocolates, which was a lovely, personal touch.

The staff were incredibly helpful and accommodating, especially Laura on the concierge, if we have remembered their name correctly. My partner and I were celebrating our anniversary and treated ourselves to the spa and its facilties. We ended up getting room service which was a first for us. The small details in the room; from the complimentary chocolates and note; the upgrade to champagne for our lunch due to our celebrations was a lovely touch. The breakfast spread was exceptional and definitely worth booking in for.

We had an upgrade so it was a very large room and bed and had a free mini bar supplying soft drinks - it was an anniversary trip and the staff had left a bottle of wine in an ice cooler and had put some swans made of towels with some petals on the bed for us - it was unexpected and a lovely surprise

I booked this as a stopover to break a long car journey having stayed there last Christmas. It was wonderful to have a swim in the lovely pool and to relax in the jacuzzi followed by an excellent dinner and a good night's rest before continuing my journey.
