Booked a hotel near Gatwick Airport for early flight next day. Expecting regular hotel. Hotel built in old manor house, lovely surroundings. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Food was excellent. We would have been happy staying here for a couple of days and enjoying the peaceful surroundings before our long flights home. Highly recommend if you are traveling from Gatwick Airport.

The warmth and homely feeling when you enter is truly welcoming. Jon took care of us to make sure we were comfortable. He took me to the closest pub to get us meals on the first night and he also provided other recommendations. The room was clean and the beds comfortable. It was as advertised. Location is excellent for a layover from Gatwick. Jon's shuttle service was also excellent.

The Plough Inn in Coldharbour enjoys a pretty location in acres of National Trust woodland, around 4 miles from Dorking.

The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming. We had a beautiful comfortable room. The property is surrounded by beautiful scenery (spectacular autumn colours). The food, both breakfast and dinner, was excellent. We had a perfect weekend break.
