We have stayed in The dog & bear Hotel several times now and we have always enjoyed staying there. Everything is always perfectly in order, the rooms as well as the restaurant. A gluten free diet is no problem for the cook, which we appreciate very much. When we recently stayed in the hotel we arrived very late at night due to unforeseen circumstances and that was no problem either. The personnel is always friendly. We travel to the UK twice a year and hope to stay in the Dog & Bear more often.

A gorgeous hotel in the countryside , kent. Spacious room. Elegant decoration. Just my favorite style. The spa was great . It was also open till 9pm. So not like other hotels, that till you arrive to the place, the spa is already close. Lovely breakfast and dinner. Beautifull garden around. The public space are lovely as well with a burning fireplace. Will defenately come again

I loved the location and the atmosphere of Howfield Manor. Even late at night it was appealing. Fantastic grounds which were lovely for walking around and relaxing even though all the summer flowers were finished blooming for the season.
