Romantic Hotels in Lagoi

The villa was exactly as advertised, clean, comfortable and the private pool was great fun. The location was very peaceful, and we didn’t hear any noise overnight. Beds were comfortable and rooms were really nicely done. The staff were all very friendly and helpful. They helped us to arrange transfers to activities we wanted to do on the island. The beach here was quiet, clean and very beautiful. The hotel food was nice and the restaurant has a lovely beach view. There are also food options in Lagoi which is only 5mins away in a taxi and the taxi cost very little. The hotel arranged taxis for us which made it super easy to pop in when we wanted to pick bits up. Information online is fairly scarce about Lagoi, so for info we found warung yeah! Which is a reasonably priced eatery offering a pretty extensive menu at a smaller cost than the resort hotels, and we found a bbq place in Lagoi. There are also some street vendors selling world food options, again for a good price. There is also a bar but that was on the pricey side. You could easily eat in Lagoi for a good price. Alternatively if travelling further afield the restaurants at Nirwana Gardens were lovely and about 15mins away by taxi. We really enjoyed our stay overall.

Our stay at the Banyan Tree Resort on Bintan was truly one of the best hotel experiences we’ve ever had. The villa was absolutely stunning—spacious, beautifully designed, and complete with a private swimming pool that felt like our own little sanctuary. The resort is surrounded by breathtaking natural beauty, offering serene ocean views and lush greenery in every direction. Each of the restaurants we tried served delicious food, with a variety of options to please our taste buds. What really set the experience apart, though, was the staff. Everyone we encountered was warm, welcoming, and went out of their way to make our stay special. If you’re looking to escape the hustle and bustle of city life, this is the perfect place to unwind and recharge. Highly recommended!

Breakfast was amazing, a huge variety of food and beverages, even French Toast and Pancakes, they also make fresh omelette by order. The Hotel is directly at the sea and has a private beach also the pool is very nice. I also liked the staff, which was very friendly and sweet, we also met the Chef and talked to him. We liked the 2 restaurants, we ate in - Spice (Indian and Indonesian) and Kelong (Seafood). We were there during the week (Sunday evening - Wednesday evening), off season and off school holiday, so there was not crowd, no people and a lot of peace.
