This is guesthouse with simple room facilities, but it was clean, and most importantly, we managed to see the aurora from our room itself so that was great! It was also worth it to get the mountain facing rooms - the view would have been very different as the other set of rooms face the carpark.

The cabin was a cosy comfortable place to lay our weary heads. They do not serve evening meals there so had to travel into the town for food. Breakfast was varied and plenty. The young Greek lady at reception was very helpful and welcoming. Thank you for a lovely stay.

Highly recommend!! We got to see our first show of northern lights here!!! You need not go anywhere to see them. You can enjoy it from the comfort of your room. The rooms and property are great- clean. Breakfast was great and with a view! The hotel is located at a distance of 10-12mins from Hofn town (by car). Great location for viewing auroras.
