Very lovely place to stay at! Everything was spotless (so the shared bathroom wasn‘t a problem at all). The kitchen was well equipped and really big so multiple people could cook at the same time. Unfortunately we only stayed one night, we would have definitely stayed longer if we could. Their ice cream is delicious too!

Room was massive with nice furniture too. View of the lake craters was amazing and the sun streaming through the window in the morning gave a false sense of how warm it was compared to the freezing day outside. Breakfast offered dozens of options and the restaurant had a dozen options too.

Everything was just great, the food, the staff, the rooms,…!!! The cows were so cute and you’re always allowed to cuddle them. Our stay there was just perfect and the location around myvatn is fantastic!

    Guesthaousw Stöng is located in the Lake Mývatn area, off the beaten track in a very peaceful location but easy to find. Our room was comfortable and there were two hot tubs available to guests around the clock, with changing and shower facilities. The breakfast was amazing! Lovely homemade bread and the staff was super friendly. We only stayed one night as we are on a driving holiday but would definitely have stayed longer.

    We enjoyed our stay here. Lovely location, unpaved road to get there. Room was clean and spacious. The breakfast was exceptional with a lot of homemade things, we loved it.

    Good location for touring the Lake Myvatn area. Very efficient service. Lovely breakfast with produce from the farm available. Evening meals served but unfortunately we didn't sample these. On a working farm in the country. KO

    Quiet countryside farm. They serve a good breakfast as well as the optional (paid) diner. The hot tubs are warm and good for relaxing after a busy day.
