The service was impeccable from start to finish. The staff warm and welcoming. The dinner and breakfast were absolutely fantastic. The presentation of each was beyond expectation and all courses were delicious.

Wakasa Annex features an outdoor hot public bath and free WiFi. Other facilities include a 24-hour reception, drinks vending machines and free parking. Todai-ji Temple is only an 8-minute walk.

A great ryokan with wonderful staff. Great stay for tourists near the Nara park. Nice views from the terrace, very comfortable room, a spa bath, massage chair, vending machines, restaurant and other quality of life upgrades. I highly recommend to stay there and enjoy Nara in the evening, after most of the tourists leaves the park. And once again - wonderful staff.

The hotel is very conveniently located at a very short walking distance from the JR train station, and at about 13 minutes walking distance from the Kintetsu Nara line train station. The rooms are beautiful and spacious, with very comfortable beds and pillows. We stayed in room 606, which also included a sofa and a coffee table, perfect for lounging in the evening, after a long day spent exploring Nara. A free amenity corner is available at the reception area, and lovely Japanese style bathrobes and comfy sleepers are available in the room. The hotel is very clean, the staff are all very kind and helpful. As we arrived earlier than the allowed check in time, we could store our luggage in the hotel, and the lady at the reception offered to arrange for our luggage to be brought up to our room, as soon as the room was ready, which was a nice touch. The breakfast is good and includes both Japanese and full-English options, as well as curries. I would highly recommend this hotel and I will certainly love to stay here again during my future visits to Nara.

Good location 10mn walk away from Nara Park. The style of the guest house is really nice and the bedroom was really cosy for the price.

The hotel has an old-fashioned design but still, it is very clean. Our room was clean as well and they offered nice facilities. The only minor is the location, we didn't understand that it was a bit further from Nara Center, approximately 10 minutes by car or 25 minutes by train.

Great hotel, with a nice structure. the room has many amenities (different skim care products, jacuzzi etc) that made us feel very spoiled in our stay
