Requested a room with good view and was given a top floor facing the wakayama castle, fantastic.Good checked in and very good breakfast. Although the hotel is between the 2 train station but nice weather so able to walk to the hotel.

The place is very nice, quiet and close to the airport and train station. Their rooms are more than I expected for the price. Plus the toilet and bathroom are spacious. I stayed in 2 rooms; one very big and one relative large compared to other hotels for the same price.

    Onsen was a lovely facility. Complementary yakult in the morning, ice blocks in the afternoon and ramen at nIght (didn't try because it was from 9.30pm only - very late). Enjoyed the massage chairs too. Free washing machines. Loved the facilities and room - very dark curtains. Pity about the beds.

    the sento (public bath) was absolutely lush. breakfast was Japanese style which takes a bit of getting used to but the quality was the best we encountered on our trip. Staff were lovely and helpful and the whole place just has a nice chill slightly scandi vibe. Bear in mind the town isn't much but it's a great base for exploring the nakasendo trail

    It was a nice hotel. A short walk from train station and a bit longer walk to the castle. Our room was comfortable and clean. The furnishing was sufficient. The breakfast was plentiful and tasty. The best thing was the onsen and massage chair. So relaxing. We booked same hotel for our autumn trip.

    Lovely room, comfortable bed, bath and room had great view over marina. Friendly staff. Easy to get to by public transport. Good place to relax, an onsen nearby. However a bit far for seeing Wakayama castle etc. I think we were the only International travellers here.
