Our group had a great experience of staying in authentic tree houses! Complemented with an amazing 5-hour-long safari that the owners kindly organised for us (we saw several elephants, buffaloes, deers, peacocks etc.), and a tasty dinner around a bonfire, it was definitely one of the most unforgettable highlights of our Sri Lanka trip! A huge thanks to the team!

We had a wonderful time at this location. Our cabana located directly on the lake, so we could observe animals from our terace. Our hosts were so friendly, helpful in all things and during our stay we felt like a family. If we come to Sri Lanka in a next time we will definetly come back to Lake Side Cabana. The site is a 10 and the room is also excellent. Often in hotels they are annoying and insistent so that you hire excursions, transportation, etc. with them, but this has not been the case. I saw the rice harvesting process.

Wow! This was our favourite hotel in Sri Lanka by far. The hotel is absolutely gorgeous, with spacious rooms and a beautiful swimming pool. Lots of thought and design has gone into the property. In addition, the staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful and the food was great! I cannot fault this hotel, and would recommend it to all my family and friends, will definitely be planning a trip back. The hotel also organised the full day safari for us (we are a couple) which was 54,000 rupees for the both of us, including packed breakfast and a rice and curry lunch. This is a very good price compared to what other travellers paid that we met and went through other tour operators. The driver was our guide and had 18 years experience and we thought he was excellent. We were lucky enough to see 5 leopards (including mother and baby!), many elephants, water buffalo, mongoose, hornbill, kingfisher, spotted deer, sloth bear, monitor lizards, wild boar, lots of peacocks, painted stork, jackal and crocodiles! It was definitely a highlight of our trip ⭐️ 😃

Wooow ! This place felt like home 😊 after two weeks of traveling Sri Lanka this is by far the best stay we had. The staff specially a guy called Amil were so welcoming and served us with the best smoothies we had. We hung out and had soo many lovely chats! They have a beautiful garden with a nice view of a river that is near by. Since this stay is near Yala national park they also organised a wonderful safari. Thank you guys for everything! This place is a magical place with a calm and quiet nature. Swimming in the early morning before breakfast is the best thing to do. If you love animals, there is a lovely dog and lots of peacocks flying around. Throughout our stay, Dinesh helped us make our stay wonderful. They even made us a special Sri Lankan breakfast during our stay. I'm definitely going to visit again. I even met a lovely family from Switzerland with two kids. This is definitely a wonderful place to spend your holiday. 🌿😍

I loved this place! I was treated like family, extended and stayed 5 nights! Wish I'd had longer! Dimo was fantastic in organizing tours to yala and took us on a lake tour! The food was some of the best I've had in Sri Lanka! I spent a lot of time watching wildlife by the river!! Saw heaps of amazing and rare birds!! I adored everything about this place!! My room was sensational! Great amenities and views of the river! Comfy bed and pillows! Really awesome varied accommodation for every budget! I can't thank these guys enough! I had a really comfortable, tasty and exciting experience here! And I can't wait to go back!!
