We stayed here for one night on our honeymoon and it was absolutely amazing! The host couple were so friendly and helpful and we were offered a welcome drink when we arrived. Then we went on a 4-hour safari that the host couple had arranged for us. We got our own jeep and the driver/guide was incredibly knowledgeable and showed us the wild elephants in a spectacular way. In the evening we were treated to a delicious homemade dinner buffet with both starter and dessert. In the morning we were treated to an incredibly good homemade Sri Lankan Breakfast. They also helped us with taxis both to and from the hotel to a very good price. We think that everyone who wants to go on Safari in Udawalawe should come and stay here!

The standalone chalets are beautiful, spacious and clean. It was one of the best stays, if not the best, in Sri Lanka. Super comfy beds, stylish bathroom and a wonderful feeling of being close to nature. We ate dinner all three nights, the food was authentic, tasty Sri Lankan food. The host, Upal, is phenomenal. My partner got very sick (nothing to do with the property) and he went above and beyond to help out. He also is just wonderful company! We also did a Safari and really enjoyed it. It was beautiful and our guide was knowledgeable and spoke great English. We cannot recommend this place enough!

The Host is very nice and helps you with everything like he is organizing a safari or bus for you. The breakfast was very delicious and big :)! The area of the house is quiet but also near to the mainroad.
